Newbies will find the owners especially welcoming and full of local tips.
On-site there's a proper bar and restaurant serving hearty breakfasts, and evening entertainment often features traditional Irish music (two of the resident staff play with the band Tir na Og). The facilities can feel a little neglected in places and some pitches are better maintained than others, but the location between Ballintoy and Ballycastle – gateway to the Causeway Coast – more than compensates. Whether you're walkers, wildlife-watchers or touring families, Glenmore makes a peaceful, scenically stunning base year-round.

I don't get the bad reviews at all. Stayed one night at the tent pitch and it was great. Lovely views from the pitches, and there are three tables with hardstanding to make cooking so much easier (which I never see elsewhere at the pitches). Bathrooms are standard for a campsite and perfectly fine. They prefer cash but take card. They serve food on site and have a bar (we didn't check it out, so can't comment on pricing, but great to have the option). Two other campers when we were here, so plenty of space.

Have a really good experience here. Staff were super friendly and helpful couldn't have asked for any better. Felt so safe and welcome on site also.

Had a great time, very peaceful and fantastic views across to Rathlin Island and Scotland. Owners very friendly and helpful. Stayed in one of the pods which have been recently upgraded and now have a kitchen sink and a beautiful bathroom. Hope to stay there again soon!

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of room and site maintained well. Old school campsite and anyone knows me that’s what I’m all about!! Just disappointed that we couldn’t stay in a plot with electric as they don’t offer this to roof tents. But we survived and had a great time. Showers cost £1 coin but I I think this is to stop people taking the piss and give all campers a fair chance at showering. All in all I’d recommend!!
