About Glen Haven Bed and Breakfast

Glen Haven Bed and Breakfast occupies a straightforward house on Whitehall Avenue in Ballycastle, County Antrim, the kind of place that favours homely comfort over grandeur. Rooms are simple and brightly decorated, some with en-suite bathrooms, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. It's a low-key set-up rather than a polished hotel, but it covers the essentials well.

Guests get breakfast included, free WiFi, and drinks available in the room, with 24-hour reception on hand and free luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures. Outside there's a garden and a deck for sitting out, and free on-site parking makes driving there straightforward.

Ballycastle itself gives easy access to walking and cycling routes, golf and fishing nearby, plus pubs, restaurants and other eateries within reach for evenings out. Glenariff Forest Park and the Giant's Causeway are both within striking distance, making Glen Haven a practical base for exploring this stretch of the Antrim coast.

I stayed 3 nights at this very nice B&B. Irene the proprietor & Margaret her associate were so welcoming, warm & full of Irish hospitality! My room was just right for this American woman traveling alone, a very nice residential neighborhood where I was very safe walking downtown at night if I felt like it..I highly recommend a stay here, plus Balleycastle is fantastic! Below is a foto of the Ladies of the house, I am the one in glasses...Two wonderful new friends :)

Myself and my husband booked into the Glen Haven B&B at short notice on Sat 10th Feb, we had a really comfortable nights sleep (Orthopaedic mattress), the room was warm and cozy and the shower/washroom was spacious with constant hot water, the cooked Irish breakfast was fantastic, especially the sausages, we also had tea, coffee and orange juice. The owner Irene was really welcoming, pleasant and very accommodating, we would definitely recommend staying over at the Glen Haven B&B, Ballycastle

Stayed here for a night and everything was perfect. Irene was very friendly and helpful. She even had a bike shed for me to keep my bicycle safe for the evening. Short walk to town. Would definitely stay here again.
