Causeway Coast Holiday Park

We had a fabulous week here. Location is great, staff are friendly, accommodation was better than we thought. We had a lodge with a hot tub and felt it was very good value for money in this day and age. The swimming pool is better than it looks on the website - the slide is excellent, and all around the pool very clean. I know it's an extra cost, but it's worth it. Recommend going to Rathlin Island for the day, and the Giant's Causeway.

Self catering apartments are basic but okay, they need to be cleaned better. Apartments beside us is empty but beer bottles, boxes, broken sofas, cigarette butt's all lieing on show. Booked for 5 nights, 2 adults and a child. With one toilet roll! Was told abruptly its self catering and it will be £2.50 for another roll? Toilet roll!! Such a shame as the site has so much potential. Won't be staying again

We stayed in one of the lodges with two young children. The lodge could have been cleaner on arrival and the shower wasn't perfect as it would switch from hot to cold at times but otherwise the lodge was good and it had a hot tub which they checked the water quality of each day. It was very good value for money at around €150 a night for 4 people to be comfortable in with own cooking area. The park is well maintained and clean and set on a beautiful cliff edge with great views. It is located within walking distance of Ballycastle which has lots to offer such as a big playground and beach. There is a ferry to Rathlin Island there too. The bar and bistro gets very busy at times which could be better as we wanted to eat there at times but felt we couldn't. On site there is a great pool with a slide and it looked refurbished and was clean, you pay a charge to use it but I felt that was fair considering the fairly priced accommodation cost overall. Lots of attentive lifeguard staff. The playground on site is grand too, does its job. There is a small shop on site which is fairly priced and a local Spar with bigger selections and an ATM anyway. The main thing I would warn couples and those looking for a quiet stay is that this is a family orientated park. It likely will not suit a quiet relaxing stay. Expect lots of young children to be roaming around and noise from the bar in the evenings at times. For young families it ticks a lot of boxes and we will be back.

Great location, That's the massive plus point of this site , Unfortunately considering we're only April the accommodation wasnt the cleanest !! Some of the utensils were so gross I didn't want to use them , felt the need to clean everything before we used it, Also the neighbours in the hot tub till gone 10 with there children screaming and emptying the water wasn't a highlight. The on site entertainment was a shame as couldn't get in on the Saturday night and no entertainment at all on the Sunday evening though we had paid for a weekend break. Very strange! The location was fabulous!!
