About The George Inn
Just six rooms make up The George Inn, a small pub-hotel on the High Street in Banbury, Oxfordshire. That compact size keeps things simple: every room is en-suite, family rooms are available, and 24-hour reception means arrival times are never a worry. Free on-site parking is a genuine convenience on a busy town-centre street where that can't always be taken for granted.
Food and drink are handled on site, with a restaurant and bar serving breakfast, kids' meals and packed lunches for anyone heading out for the day. Rooms come with drinks provided, and there's a garden for sitting outside when the weather allows. Free WiFi covers the practical bases, and pets are welcome for guests travelling with dogs.
The inn's High Street position puts pubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance, and there's a golf course nearby for those wanting to fill a morning. It suits guests who want a straightforward, well-placed base in Banbury rather than a large hotel with extensive facilities.
