Had a lovely 5 night stay in our touring caravan despite the dreadful weather. Fantastic site and great location. The beach was fabulous, pity we couldn't make the most of it. Great facilities on site, including a fab restaurant/ bar which is independently run. Also in walking distance is a quaint pub, train station to get the train into Barmouth and a small supermarket within the sands resort. My daughter hired the Calder suite for her short break which was a real treat, although an extra £20pn I thought it was a bit pricey. Would definitely return, hopefully when the weather is better to be able to make the most of the location/ beach.

Despite the weather we enjoyed our stay. The park is excellent, well set out and immaculately clean. You are minutes from the stunning beech and you can walk for miles. The staff were so polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We have already booked to return in the summer, highly recomended, 5 stars

Just returned from a 5 night stay in our motorhome. This site is truly 5 star, so clean and well kept. Great pitches with electric, fresh water and a digital tv connection. Waste water point at each pitch. There is a very clean pot washing station and elsan point. The shower and toilet block is very clean and well kept and there are night toilets if you need them too. The staff at reception are really helpful and the bar/restaurant is very good. The food is excellent and although their website said the bar would be closed on Monday and Tuesday, they were actually open. There is a very handy shop at Sands holiday park, just a 5 minute walk from the site which sells everything! Now the very most important part....the beach is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Dog friendly, huge and flat, this beach takes some beating no matter where you are in the world! We're already booking for next year!
