What visitors say

Michelle

We stayed at this campsite for 7 nights and overall had a lovely stay. The location is excellent, with the beach just a 5-minute walk away and the fantastic Ysgethin Inn also around 5 minutes from the site. We were allocated a lovely pitch and were lucky enough to enjoy fantastic weather for most of our stay, apart from a memorable thunderstorm in the middle of the week. There are a few things potential visitors should be aware of. The toilet facilities were average and could benefit from more frequent cleaning. On several occasions there was no toilet roll available, and children were often playing in the facilities. The campsite is close to the railway line, so there is some noise from passing trains. However, services only seem to run every couple of hours, so we didn’t find it too disruptive. One thing that may be important for dog owners is that there is a crow scarer operating not too far from the campsite. The loud bangs caused issues for our dog, so it’s worth considering if your dog is sensitive to sudden noises. Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay and the location is hard to beat for access to the beach and local pub.

Lady at reception was amazing. Pods are spacious and we really enjoyed ourselves. Right by the bay, lovely views of sunset. Barmouth beach close by. Had the best weekend.

Nice site in a good area, lots to do nearby. Toilet facilities all clean, pitch was tidy and everything too. And there was a nice atmosphere to the place.

Booked and cancelled within 30 days of arrival After nearly 45 days and 50+ calls still awaiting for my refund They have kept lying that it has been processed and keep dragging it. Good luck in trying to get your money back in case you need to cancel
