Ty’r Bugail Shepherds Hut
Gwynedd
Ty'r Bugail is a single shepherd's hut in Tal-y-Bont, a village on the Gwynedd coast near Barmouth. It sleeps two in a double bedroom and suits couples wanting time away from busier places, or anyone travelling with a dog, which stays free. The hut is your own for the stay, with parking for two cars on site and no smoking allowed inside.
Everything is on one floor. The open-plan living space contains a kitchen area with gas hob, air fryer, microwave and fridge-freezer, a bedroom with a 4ft 6in double bed, and a shower room with cubicle shower and heated towel rail. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating is by electric central system. Outside, a decking area has garden furniture, a firepit, a barbecue, and a private spa bath where you can soak in hot water under open sky.
The hut sits close to Tal-y-Bont beach, a short walk away. Barmouth, a few miles down the coast, has a harbour, shops, cafes and pubs. Harlech Castle and other historic sites are within reach for day trips.
