Min y Mor sits directly on Marine Promenade, a few metres from the sand, and makes a straightforward, dependable base for a beach holiday. It offers a licensed restaurant and lounge bar, a family room and function space, and a beer garden where the front lawn runs almost to the beach itself, giving guests and non-residents alike a sea view with their food and drink.
Rooms are comfortable rather than luxurious, and the hotel's real strength is its position: the high street, harbour and fairground are all a short walk away, and free parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas are provided. It is a popular choice for families and for groups visiting the coast and nearby Snowdonia National Park.

Always wanted to stop at Barmouth, driven though in m/home.This year stopped at local campsite. Walking down seafront, popped into Mi-Y-Mor. Stunning location, great choice of drinks,friendly staff.Front lawned beer garden with best seaview ever. Looking to stay in near future, food reviews are awesome and chilled out feel throughout.

I accept not everyones experience is the same but I stayed here for 3 nights over bank holiday and loved it. Seaview room 1 sleeps 3 people and has outstanding views over a huge beer garden out to sea. Big shower room. Only 10 min walk into Barmouth. This hotel doesn't claim to be a 5 star place so people shouldn't expect as such. The seafront location means its very busy with passers-by wanting a drink but the staff were all fantastic, friendly and helpful even during the hottest May bank holiday! Food and drinks were always excellent however £2 for a pint of squash is excessive and it was £3.30 for a single ice cream cone on the front so maybe I'm just not up to speed with prices these days. This hotel is clean, has the best location and currently great staff, dog friendly, great food and to think I was going to let bad reviews put me off. I'll definitely be back here!

I've just returned from my stay here. I have visited many times so I knew what to expect from the hospitality etc. However, the current chef they have now is phenomenal. Chicken liver pate (as pictured) amazing. Beef brisket lasagne (forgot to photo) had big chunks of beef in. Mate's seabass curry was banging. What's more, I witnessed him come out to speak to the customers personally about the dishes, and also knock up some treats for the staff. The man is in the right job.

Did not stay at the Hotel. However went for lunch and ate at Rachel's outside food stall. The food was fantastic and great value for money 💰. Rachel was courteous attentive and very respectful. It was a pleasure to visit and as we are here for a few days we shall definitely visit again 😊
