Garreg Wen

Garreg Wen suits families and small groups wanting direct access to Barmouth Beach without sacrificing space or comfort. The house sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double on the ground floor with partial views towards the shore, and two twin rooms upstairs. There's one bathroom with both bath and shower. The whole property is yours alone, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.

Ground-floor living flows from kitchen through dining into a sitting room with two sofas and a wood-burning stove, then out via patio doors to a decked garden with furniture and gas barbecue. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, and American-style fridge. Upstairs the twin rooms overlook the town and hills. Essentials including electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are covered. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Barmouth itself sits on the edge of Snowdonia; the town centre is a short walk away with independent shops and pubs within a mile. The beach, estuary and surrounding hills offer immediate walking, cycling and outdoor pursuits.
