About Waterview Deluxe Apartments

Waterview Deluxe Apartments occupies a contemporary building on Michaelson Road in Barrow-in-Furness, designed around self-contained serviced apartments rather than traditional hotel rooms. The clean-lined, modern style suits guests who want more space and independence than a standard room offers, with family accommodation available alongside the usual doubles.

Every apartment comes with its own kitchen and en-suite bathroom, useful for longer stays or anyone wanting to cook rather than eat out every night. Free WiFi is available throughout, and reception is staffed around the clock, so arrivals at odd hours are not a problem. Free parking can be found nearby, which is a practical bonus in a town centre location.

The surrounding area caters well to outdoor pursuits, with golf, fishing, walking routes and watersports all within reach, and the Lake District itself is easily accessible for day trips. Closer by, there are pubs, restaurants and entertainment options for evenings when guests would rather stay local.

Where do I start? I came here with 2 friends as we were climbing Scaffell Pike and needed somewhere to stay afterwards. The lady on reception was very helpful. We needed some washing powder as our clothes were soaked after the climb and she found some for us, and also gave us a camp bed and quilts as there was some confusion when booking, thr apartment it's self exceeded all three of our expectations, sparkling clean, comfortable, soft furnishings and decorated to a high standard too, although, the dining table in the room was unusable due to wobbly legs, I only mention it just incase a family with children stay in there it would be a hazard. But I will be returning if I do scaffell pike again.

Lovely big apartment the staff were very friendly accommodating giving us another room to stay in until ours was ready as we had arrived early. Great location within walking distance of the town centre, morrisons and the train station. Would definitely recommend

Booked this apartment (4) to stay for one night while visiting family locally. We only needed somewhere to sleep so did not need anything other than a bed for everyone 2 adults and 2 kids. When we first arrived we were quite impressed by the whole apartment it looked clean and very spacious much bigger than a room you would get at travel lodge or similar. Anyway we dropped our bags off and went to my mums, and came back at about 20:45. After getting the kids into bed and settled their beds were very comfortable and room dark and quiet really good. The main double bed mattress has definitely served its time and needs to be replaced, it was not comfortable and had zero support due to the springs being very tired… the blinds in the room did not fully reach both ends of the window and could do with another slat, you could not move them to reach like you would have been able to if there was an additional slat. The room was also quite noisy, the window seals were not good so it was only slightly quieter with the window closed as opposed to being open. In the morning we had to try and find a soft toy our youngest had hidden and could not remember where they put it, so we had to search everywhere in one draw in the main bedroom was a bible, not an issue but there was a very questionable tissue under it…. In another draw was an almost empty packet of cigarettes…. The kitchen was not too bad at first glance, but we spilt some milk so needed to clean it up, after doing so the paper towel was quite dirty and you could feel the side was a bit gritty. Anyway we started to notice more of the issues under the cooker a panel was missing not the best… Walls were either damaged or marked. Table and chairs were quite loose when moved The tv had no signal but I always bring a Roku so was not an issue. I would say the receptionist was very polite and friendly. Personally I would not stay here again which is a real shame but if you are working in the area would suit a contractor but this is not the cheapest of places but you do get a lot of space. Sorry for the long post just wanted to get my view down.
