Lantern Lodge
Basingstoke and Deane
Bramley is a substantial village in north Hampshire with its own railway station, making it accessible without a car. Lantern Lodge is a converted barn on the edge of the village, a private whole property with parking for two cars and space for one dog at no extra cost.
The ground floor is open-plan living and dining, with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine are all there. Sliding doors open onto a decked terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, and there's a galleried sitting room upstairs if you need a second living space. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. Two bedrooms sleep five: one has a kingsize bed, the other holds a single plus a pull-out trundle and an additional cabin bed accessed by ladder, which appeals to children. The shower room has a walk-in enclosure.
Underfloor heating runs throughout, and an electric woodburner warms the main living area. The property is non-smoking. There's a shared courtyard with the owner's home, which features the lantern the lodge takes its name from.
