Sparrow Stables
Basingstoke and Deane

Basingstoke and Deane has quiet corners away from the town centre, and Sparrow Stables sits in one of them—a converted 19th-century building that keeps its period bones while working as a modern holiday let. The property is yours alone, with two bedrooms (both en-suite), a third bathroom, and accommodation for four people. A dog is welcome to stay with you.
Inside, the layout centres on an open-plan living space. The kitchen handles full self-catering, and wi-fi keeps you connected if you need it. Bed linen and towels come as standard. Outside, the garden has a fire pit and barbecue for evening gatherings. On-site parking means no hunting for a space on the road. The nearest pub is within a mile. No smoking indoors.
The surrounding area works well for couples or families wanting a base that's neither remote nor built-up. Highclere Castle, the Bombay Sapphire Distillery and London are all within reach if you want a day out, but you can equally spend time in the garden or take walks through the countryside without venturing far.
