About The Chequers Inn
Kiln Lane in Beaconsfield sets a quiet, village-edge tone for The Chequers Inn, a traditional pub hotel with a garden and outdoor seating for warmer evenings and a bar that anchors the whole place. It's the kind of spot where the pub comes first and the rooms sit comfortably alongside it, with free on-site parking making it an easy stop whether you're passing through Buckinghamshire or staying a while.
Rooms are en-suite, with family rooms and accessible rooms available, and there's a bridal suite for those booking the property as a wedding venue. Guests get breakfast, room service, drinks brought to the room, free WiFi and a laundry service, while kids' meals are on offer in the restaurant downstairs. A 24 hour reception and meeting rooms round out the practical side, useful for both leisure stays and small gatherings.
Beyond the inn itself, there's a golf course nearby along with entertainment, pubs, bars and further restaurants and eateries close by, giving guests plenty to explore without needing to travel far. It remains, at heart, a straightforward pub stay: food, a bar, and a bed above it.
Guests mention this inn offers delicious food, including hearty burgers and excellent Sunday roasts, with a good variety of menu options. They also highlight the friendly and attentive staff, who provide professional service. Visitors appreciate the beautiful, clean, and comfortable rooms, some featuring luxury bathrooms and ample parking.
