Great so far, simple campsite, pitch up anywhere policy is very relaxed. Communal kitchen area is very handy, lovely big fridge to keep provisions cool. Outdoor washing up station is good. Rustic toilets and showers very good, with some nice little touches. Great place for down to earth campers, quite basic in a very charming way. May not suit families with bored children... Beautiful views over the Chiltern Hills...shops and pubs nearby....access is said to be a 'little bumpy' is definitely not an understatement, I wouldn't fancy driving onto the site in a vehicle with low suspension or low profile tyres!!!! Overall conclusion from our perspective is it's a great place ...Phil Robinson

It such a lovely relaxed site. Staff are so lovely and really helpful. We couldnt get our fire going and they came and helped us. The showers are lovely and clean. proper toilets all plumbed in. The little kitchenette is amazing a huge fridge which is a game changer AND a place you can cook on to. We been twice now and can't wait to go again!

We had a lovely evening and morning testing out our new campervan conversion. Evie played 'football' with one of the collies and loved the swing. Jasper loved running in circle in the dark. Most def coming back with friends later in the summer. Amazing views. Great shared kitchen and nice showers. We walked to the oldest pub in England in the morning (came to late to have a drink the night before.) Lovely walk through the meadows and said hi to the alpacas on the way.

We recently discovered this gorgeous campsite, the views are amazing and it is has so much to offer. From the lovely hot showers to the kitchen with FREE tea/coffee and hot chocolate for the kiddos we loved it. It has a homely feel and everyone we spoke to were so friendly and respectful. We spoke with both Alex and Frankie who were so so helpful, they made us feel at ease and help needed they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. Which is hard not too given the location, we also followed the signs and walked down to the Royal Standard which was an amazing experience. The campsite its self was so clean and the fact you can choose where you would want to pitch is a really nice touch. All the taps avalible in the mini kitchen and all around were drinking water whicj is so handy! So make sure you bring water bottles. There was some very cute and friendly dogs wandering around saying hello and lots of other animals that just added a really wholesome experience for us and our sons. You can get fire pits and logs so dont forget to bring marshmallows. We are very excited to have found this haven and cannot wait to come back again. Our sons had the best time and so did we! Thank you Penn Meadow Farm and Team! X
