The Pool House

Buckinghamshire's film studio neighbourhood and surrounding countryside draw visitors year-round, and The Pool House offers a contemporary base for exploring the area. This ground-floor lodge sleeps six across two bedrooms—one with a super kingsize bed and en-suite, the other with a double and single beds—plus a second bathroom. An open-plan living space combines a lounge with smart TV, dining area, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, induction hob, microwave, American fridge freezer, coffee machine, and washer-dryer. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included.

The property shares grounds with the owner and has access to a 14-metre swimming pool (open June to September, available for private use by arrangement) and a gym on the same basis. There's a pizza oven in the sitting-out area and parking for two cars. An electric vehicle charger is available by prior arrangement. The lodge is non-smoking. Note that the owner's friendly Labrador may visit the shared grounds.
