What visitors say
Interesting bit of Northumberland history. Pay for visit in the honesty box or scan a QR code. Lots of stairs and some low doors.

We stopped into the tower late afternoon on a Tuesday afternoon and found the place entirely to ourselves. There is an admission fee that is an honesty box with cash or an app payment from the phone. Well worth the £3.00 admission to go inside and walk to the top. The tower holds a bell at the top that rings on the hour, and as you go up the tower, you can see the mechanics of the bell. The interior rooms are marked with descriptions. Loved the solitude and the view from the top. Quite a find.

Great piece of History, the entrance is tight but there is a large car park which leads to the Tower. A magnificent structure and so well presented, the clock mechanism was a piece of engineering brilliance to view. Great fun and real credit to the family. Highly recommended.
