The Trails: Walkers can explore three distinctive routes—the flat Garden Trail (1.1 miles, easy), which winds past the Japanese and Walled Gardens; the scenic Meadow Trail (1.78 miles, moderate) tracing the River Lagan; and the undulating Woodland Trail (1.93 miles, moderate) traversing denser canopies. Amenities: Home to the world-renowned City of Belfast International Rose Garden (holding over 20,000 blooms), a large children’s playground, and The Stables Coffee Shop. Totally blown away at how tranquil and beautiful it is. It’s a gem of a place. Especially if you like your roses. At the moment of writing this (30/6/26) the flowers are blooming. More to come but stunning. Such a wide variety of rose. The grounds itself well maintained and a slice of heaven. Plenty of places for kids and a big park. There’s a cafe called Stables, great little place to have a coffee and a snack.

Lovely place for a stroll of the stunning scenery around the park even not in the season of the roses. Seducive meadows, interesting woodland and few gardens - all so well kept! Pleasant cofe shop.

Such a lovely maintained park with a great children's play area. The jewels in the crown are the amazing Dequoias otherwise known as California Redwoods.
