What visitors say
A brilliant day out for the whole family. The play area kept the kids entertained for hours, and the Engine Yard was a great find - good food, proper coffee, and ice cream that went down well after all that running around. Staff throughout were friendly and happy to help. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back.

Enjoyed my time here when I came here with family. Parking was £4 all day but Think does not include village parking. There is an option of self guide or guided tour. Staff where quite friendly a they do a fabulous job. It was nice to hear the Rutland still use the castle. Castle is still in good condition compared to some of the ones I have seen previously.

It was great-11/07/2026 trip Saturday 11th July 2026 Travelled by the Blue Sky Tours Coach Company. Visited the flower show by David Domoney guest, saw Adam Frost as well, looked inside Belvoir castle and it was brilliant and so historic as well with the beautiful paintings with Henry VIII etc, Lady of Southampton Now, about the rose garden it was just beautiful! However, few disadvantages! For us,we went by a coach trip. It was very difficult and possibly dangerous for the path and road, I had seen a woman fall down the stairs and have to go to the paramedics, and also a coach and car had been struck. It's also not the best for the elderly or disabled, because there can be stairs and theirs no guide on where to really go. However, it was a lovely day with the stalls and shops, and the garden was great. Got lovely photos and had a great memory. I bought the flower / etc show with the company, however when I got to the Belvoir castle I did of course have to pay £14.50 for Adult and £5 for Child to enter the castle. Lastly, great entertainment was on including A nice pair singing great songs n' a lady beforehand who also sang.

Visited on the late Bank Holiday Monday to see the Boom Circus 🎪 pirates show with my wife and son. The show was fantastic and much better than. I had expected, having not seen any Circus shows before. The castle itself looks stunning and the reactions and impressions start even before you arrive as you see it on your drive up. Extremely impressive. We only went around the gardens and used the outdoor pirate themes play area. But this was great. Even my 5 year old boy was desperate to go in the castle and look round as it is so impressive. The shopping village is impressive, with bistro, farm shop and also sorts to entertain all ages. Unfortunately, we didn't know this was here and left it late to explore. Would have been here much earlier in the day had we known. Somewhere definitely worth returning to.
