About The Labyrinth Woodland
Tucked into nine acres of Nottinghamshire woodland in the Vale of Belvoir, this tiny wild-camping retreat proves that rustic needn't mean roughing it. The portable loos keep things simple, but the roofless forest shower feels unexpectedly luxurious, and campers share an outdoor kitchen with gas cooker and hot-water washing-up. Help yourself to pre-chopped firewood for the communal campfire area, or book a session in the wood-fired hot tub for something more indulgent.
Wildlife is plentiful – squirrels, deer, pheasants and rabbits move freely through the trees – and there's a secure dog park on site for off-lead runs. Kilvington Lakes lie fifteen minutes' walk away, while the old railway-track Linear Walk makes for longer rambles. Belvoir Waters and Portland Fishing Lakes are five minutes by car if you fancy casting a line, or head to Skylarks Nature Reserve for wetland birdwatching.

The Labrynth Woodland gave us the loveliest set up to celebrate our anniversary weekend. Rose and Dave really looked after us. The wood fired hot tub was perfect, there was a huge space for seating and the bell tent itself was decorated beautifully with a comfortable bed and lots of little extras to make our stay really special. The outdoor shower was a nice touch too! We would absolutely recommend to anybody thinking of booking and hope to return one day! 💚

Incredible site. Dave the owner is proper sound too. Gave us as much firewood as we needed and was all too happy to help. The site is extremely well located , enough to be isolated yet close to major resources. The site is beautiful and quiet and has everything you need for a lofi camping experience. 10/10
