Great little campsite, 2 toilet facilities, 2 / 3 showers. The owners are so laid back. We paid a deposit via pitchup, rang when we arrived and he said he'd see us the next day. We rang to let him know we were going to Skegness (40 min drive) for the day and we would drop either cash or pay via bank transfer on arrival. He said its fine and would see us when he sees us. We came back and saw him outside the camp site and paid him. He was so laid back it was unreal! Overall it was a great place, the only bit of input would be for a secondary draining board / surface against second sink to allow 2 people to wash the pots at the same time. When it became busy, they brought out a porta loo for the tent campers (2 static toilets as well) Overall, clean, polite and well maintained site. Will be back!!

ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS – A PIECE OF PARADISE! If I could give Homestead Fields Campsite 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat! This place is, without a doubt, absolute perfection. From the second we arrived, we were completely blown away by just how beautiful and incredibly well-maintained the entire site is. It is stunningly picturesque, literally everywhere you look is a postcard-worthy view. They have thought of absolutely everything here; you have every single thing you could possibly need for the perfect getaway. A few highlights that made it extra, extra special! The Vending Machine: Having access to a vending machine stocked with ice-cold drinks and snacks is a total game-changer! The Ice Creams: Oh my goodness, the ice creams are perfect and such incredible value for money. They became a daily mandatory treat! The Dream Team Owners: Dean, Alison, and their son (and very helpful granddaughter) are some of the loveliest, warmest, and most genuinely helpful people we have ever met. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I honestly cannot fault this place in any way whatsoever. It is a flawless 10/10. We are already planning our next trip and will 100% be back! Do yourself a favor and book a stay here immediately!

Unexpectedly raised the price of our stay on day 4! I asked for a price 7 months before we came for our 2nd visit of this site, which Dean told me he had got it wrong after 4 days into our stay, something which I could have refused but was put on the spot and it made it awkward, so I agreed. There was another issue where my 16 year old niece and my daughter got the blame from Dean about being too noisy and abusing the toilet area, kicking and banging doors. This is what actually happened...4 days in we have had zero issues, then a family turned up in a huge tent and there 4 or 5 kids were running about, making loads of noise, and I personally witnessed one of them go into the portaloo at the top of the field just before tea time, and the other kids who were with them started kicking and banging it as a bit of a joke, though it is disrespectful of the property. All afternoon those kids were very loud. I didn't have a problem with that as they were on holiday and playing. Later that night myself and my wife were sat outside talking (about 9.30pm) and saw Dean go storming past into the main camping field. About 30 minutes later he returned and came marching over to tell us our 2 kids were making loads off noise and had been banging on toilet doors. They were actually at the far side on the dog walk trail making tik tok vids keeping themselves to themselves. We said to him that we couldn't hear them, as if we could we would have been straight over, but he said we must be able to hear them as he could hear them from his house, basically calling me and my wife liars. As this caught us both off guard we made our kids apologise anyway, but afterwards we realised that he had got the wrong end of the stick. He wouldn't listen and it felt very belittling as I take pride in my children's behaviour. My wife went to use the loo straight after he confronted us and also witnessed those other children still abusing the main toilet block. So basically someone had complained about noise and he got the wrong kids. So what has gone from being a great little get away turned into my worst experience in over 20 years of camping and we will never return, which is a shame because the site is in a lovely area and his wife is great and very accommodating, just Dean jumping in with his big size 11s without knowing the facts has ruined it for us. The day after we talked to him and set him right that it couldn't have been our children as they were nowhere near the toilet area when this was said to be going on, which he agreed but never apologised. Dean did say to us he is quite happy to have kids playing up to 9pm but after which should be quiet. This was half term holidays and the sun was still up! Fair enough if it's a group of lads blasting music out at 1.30 in the morning but kids playing and giggling at 9pm while on half term holiday should not be an issue. This is not an adults only site. Also a few notes, wifi at pitch is advertised yet no where to be seen. Wifi was available last year at the toilet block but couldn't get it at all this year. Not a deal breaker for me but those who may want it will find it hard luck. What a shame that the mishandling of this situation caused such ill feeling. Apart from all this, the site and glamping tent are lovely and we will miss coming here.
