Booked swim with dog session and it was absolutely brilliant! Our 14 year old goldie loves water and this was an opportunity for her to paddle safely with easy access into the water. The facilities are incredible for humans too! The session was very well organised. Highly recommend!

We visited Ocean Water Academy on Saturday 16th May for an hours session with our two Dogs for the swim with you dog session. Fantastic all round experience , facilities , staff and site abolsutely on point. We look forward to visiting again soon

A great venue, very well run and staffed by really decent enthusiastic people who have put a lot of effort and energy into making this place work as well as it does. Facilities are spotless and the most important thing is the lake is so clean and free from pollution. Given how much is reported in the media about freshwater swimming venues across the country being adversely impacted by pollution, I consider myself very fortunate to be able to access Oceanwalker Academy and swim distance frequently in such amazing clean and clear conditions. I have swam through two Winter Seasons here now. A new experience for me and a steep learning curve with the personal adaptations required to keep going in the lower temperatures, I chose not to wear a wetsuit during this. Learning what I could do and what I needed to do, not just in the water but out post swim and the recovery process after was a real education. Having knowledge from the first Winter season of where my thresholds are and the effects post swim, has allowed me to address the second Winter with more awareness and focus on longer sessions. Throughout this I was watched over by the team, both whilst in the water and in the barn with the “After Drop”. My thanks go to all of you for providing such a safe and well managed environment, that enabled me to push myself that little bit more each time.
