Berkeley Castle

We had the most perfect wedding at Berkeley Castle. From the first contact the communication was really faultless. We felt in very safe hands with Jess, the wedding co-ordinator, throughout the wedding planning and on the day. She was really fantastic and such a lovely person to have there on your wedding day. The castle is of course incredible, from the beautiful grounds with stunning borders and wisteria climbing over the walls, to the unique and breathtaking interiors. Our guests really enjoyed the castle tours and the tour guides were absolutely fantastic. It really is the most unique and special place to get married, particularly if you're a lover of history. We have really fallen in love with Berkeley Castle and really look forward to coming back in the future.

From the moment we stepped foot into the beautiful setting of Berkeley castle we knew this is where we would have our fairytale Wedding. Throughout the whole process from start to finish Jess has been nothing but outstanding, offering guidance and support from day one right up until the day after our wedding. We couldn’t have felt any more valued or looked after and are truly thankful for all she has done. This venue gave us the opportunity to feel like royalty but equally plan the day how we wanted it utilising all of the space available to us. As with any British weather it’s unpredictable but come rain or shine theres so much to explore here for you and your guests that it really doesn’t matter what the weather does, the experience will still be unforgettable. The accommodation was perfectly situated with all our guests being in walking distance of the venue. What could have been just a single day of celebration, should we have chosen elsewhere, turned into a whole weekend of fun spent with family and friends. It was the perfect choice and all three cottages are of a high standard which our guests continue to rave about. The suppliers all recommended by the castle offered amazing service and the castle were super accommodating to the new suppliers we also welcomed in. If you are looking for that wow factor, something special, heaped in history, situated in a beautiful countryside with an amazing team who will go above and beyond, Berkeley castle is your wedding destination. Jess and the whole team at Berkeley went above and beyond to make sure every detail and last minute decision worked. They were brilliant at adapting to the changing weather and allowing us to just completely relax for the whole day. Everything was absolutely seamless, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and all the communication beforehand was supportive and helpful. It was a magical venue for our day and Jess just knew how to use each area to make the most special memories for us and our guests.

We had an amazing wedding at Berkeley Castle. From our first walk around to our wedding weekend, every need was catered for. Jess was great at communicating in the lead-up to the wedding and co-ordinating on the day so everything went smoothly. The staff are so helpful and made our dream wedding happen.
