What guests say
One of the best Premier Inn we have stayed in and we have stayed in many. Great location for walking in to Beverley town centre and nearby restaurants. The Minster is within sight and so is the railway station. The ice cold air conditioning in the room was very much appreciated after a long day of sight seeing in a heatwave. Not a fan of automated check in but staff were visible and helpful. Some reviews mentioned the sewage type smell which comes from the 700 year old Beck, a tourist attraction a few hundred meters away. At times it was noticeable outside but the staff work hard to keep it out of the hotel with double air lock entrance doors and plug in air fresheners.

Location was perfect, however the room did let the stay down quite a bit. Not very clean, really warm even with air-con running, broken toiletry bottle in shower and a really overpowering smell (unpleasant) throughout the hallways. The one member of staff that assisted us during check-in and served drinks later in the evening was very pleasant and helpful-apologies didn't get their name! Probably wouldn't stay again.

We used this Premier Inn as our base for our groups race day. The online booking went extremely smoothly and check in was a delight as the receptionist had a fun sense of humour and processed all 7 rooms swiftly. We had requested a few side issues like early check ins and nothing fazed her or was too much trouble. (Thursday 23rds receptionist. Sorry I didn't catch your name.!) The rooms were fine and the following days breakfast was very good. All in all a great stay at an affordable price.

I stayed for one night and found the hotel easy to locate, with convenient parking available for check-in. However, my experience was disappointing due to a lack of organisation. On arrival, I was told I had already checked in, which was confusing given I had just arrived with my bags and coat. I also felt that my explanation wasn’t taken seriously at first, even though the situation should have been clear. After being given a room key, I discovered the room was already occupied. I returned to reception to report this, and while the staff were apologetic, I had to wait around 20 minutes before being assigned another room. I was offered a refund for breakfast as compensation, but over a month later, this has still not been processed.

Some reviews mention the service can be inefficient.
