We had dinner at the restaurant. A really lovely friendly welcome..a cosy spot by the fire and they'd even provided a dog bed so the dog was very happy too. Delicious food and lots of choice for a gluten free diner. The chips especially were so yummy. Great service. Would highly recommend.

Had a great evening meal here midweek. Very friendly service. Food and drinks were delicious and hoping to make a return trip when we stay over. Easy to recommend based on our experience.

Great feel to this old village pub with plenty of character. Big oak beams and great fire place. Bedrooms are nice and was an enjoyable stay. Not overly far from RAF Croughton

We were staying down the road and was recommended to come for food, the staff were very friendly, food was good, downside we don't have dogs and that's fine for people who do, there was a few people with dogs in which the staff make a b line for stroking and cuddling dogs, my husband was going to have another drink, but we watched as the staff went back behind the bar, started serving drink not even washing their hands, sorry but this is unacceptable hygiene etc. We would have had a dessert but decided against it.
