The Long House

The Long House comes ready for immediate use. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all covered from the moment you arrive. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer are there to use—and opens directly onto an enclosed garden with patio seating and a barbecue. A washing machine and tumble dryer handle laundry. Initial logs for the woodburner come with the booking, and a highchair is available if needed.

Four bedrooms sleep eight across two floors. Ground level has a kingsize and a room with zip-and-link single beds, each with its own bathroom featuring a heated towel rail. Upstairs, two further kingsize bedrooms; one comes with an ensuite. The living room has a 50" Freeview TV and a woodburner, while the dining room adjoins the kitchen. Off-road parking for four cars sits on the property itself.

The hamlet of Middle Aston is just over a mile from Steeple Aston village, which has a pub, post office and shop. Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds lie within easy reach, as does Bicester Village for retail. The surrounding countryside is laced with footpaths for walking. One dog can stay free of charge. The property is non-smoking, and there are steps and a slope in the garden to be aware of.
