We were here to use the campsite so rooms eating is for pitches. We had a large electric pitch which while very undulating we managed without difficulty to make sure our camper was absolutely level. Electric and water right next to the pitch. Facilities wise, I'm really not sure where some of the negative reviewers were staying but it clearly wasn't here. There are two original shower and toilet cabins, one for each sex that contain a shower and separate toilet, there is a separate shower block with a further two showers each inside and the pub toilet are open 24/7 as well, the door is right next to the outside toilet cabins, the owners are looking at purchasing a further toilet block in the near future as well. The pub is lovely, seves a limited menu of good food on generous portions, the owners are really nice and helpful too. It's ideally situated in a quiet village for access to Stratford and Warwick or in to the costwolds. There is a footpath from the site leading in to bidford which is approximately a 15 minute walk. If you want a quiet break avoid the weekend, it gets busy toward the end of the week, especially when there are local events taking place. Overall great value for money, especially in this area. I'd have given 5 stars if the pitch was completely level but it's still a great place to stay.

Lovely little gem in a quiet little village. Great for caravans and motorhomes. Good pitch's, electric and water to hand. Nice little pub with good food. Staff were lovely. Had a great night karaoke which was a surprise.

Camped here with Friends Friday-Monday for the music festival @ the pub. Fab/gr8/awsome weekend. Lovely staff - serve a gr8 beer & Sunday lunch which was not only lush but a huge portion! Can not wait for next one. Bands were gr8 too.

The location is very nice, right next to the river. The pub has a lot of character and the food was good but when we went there was little choice left on the menu. The staff are friendly but this doesn't make up for the things that are wrong. Some of the pitches are exceptionally uneven. Only 1 single male and 1 single female toilet for the whole site (25 pitches at least from memory). There was no toilet roll for the first 24 hours. Only 1 shower, which doesn't drain properly, for each sex and the male shower room in particular is no bigger than under my stairs at home. The only place to shave or brush your teeth is in the single toilet (if you can get in). The sink is minuscule with no plug. It's inexpensive, but would you want to use your precious time off work roughing it at a place like this? The campsite has potential but needs improving before advertising for people to visit.
