About The Moseley Arms
Rooms at The Moseley Arms are straightforward and comfortable, each with its own en-suite bathroom and space enough for families to book together. Drinks can be brought up to the room, and there's free WiFi throughout, so it works equally well for a quick overnight stop or a longer stay while exploring Birmingham.
Downstairs, the property runs as a casual tavern, with a menu of traditional pub grub, draft beers and ciders served in the bar or out on the dining patio. Breakfast is available each morning, and there's a picnic area and outdoor seating for anyone who prefers to eat outside. Practical extras include packed lunches for days out, luggage storage, meeting rooms for those travelling on business, and free on-site parking, which is a genuine bonus in this part of the city. Pets are welcome too.
The surrounding area on Ravenhurst Street has other pubs, bars and restaurants within easy reach, along with entertainment options and a nearby golf course. It suits guests after a simple, unfussy base with a proper pub at its centre rather than a polished city-centre hotel.

Only 20 minutes walk from the train Station and about 10 from the Coach Station, it provides comfortable accommodation an a very reasonable price. Great service from the staff, all the amenities that you need. Lovely laid out bar that also serves food. I’d highly recommend this place for a reasonably priced stay in the city.

Stayed over for one night (Saturday) while attending a Saturday/Sunday sporting event. The ground floor room we stayed in was on the small side but clean, tidy and we thought would be adequate for a one night stay. The shower room was again clean but there was a terrible smell (probably the drains). But we decided we could cope for one night. The TV was unwatchable as there was a problem with the aerial. Again we decided we could cope with that for one night. Then at half past 12 we were woken by constant loud talking from room above. It was so bad we called the might manager who had a word with them. We went back to sleep then until 4am when they woke us again. I rang the night manager again. He told me he had told them once and now there was nothing he could do about it! He told me it's a Saturday night and it was to be expected as people go out and come in at all times and that I could complain to the manager at 10am in the morning. I explained we would be leaving at 8am for the second part of our event and we needed sleep. He really didn't want to help as he'd asked them once. I didn't think he would go and sort it but he did. We saw him the next morning at 8am and he was fine with us and told us there were 3 lads staying in the room above us. The upsetting thing also is that there is a laminated information sheet in the rooms asking people to be respectful of other guests, theses guys were definitely not that, and the hotel didn't even want to assist with there own rules. There's no wonder they ask for payment at check-in as I think there would be problems with people paying at checkout. Apart from this the staff were lovely, but I would not recommend staying.

I had a great stay at The Moseley Arms. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering everything needed for a pleasant stay. The location is also convenient, with easy access to the city centre. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and I would happily stay here again.

I stay in Birmingham regularly and usually avoid pub accommodation as I run one myself, but this was dog-friendly and close to family—so I gave it a try. Glad I did. Free on-site parking right outside (no walk needed) was really handy, and having my dog with me was no problem at all. Lovely pub downstairs with great pints. The room was clean, tidy, nicely furnished, with a comfy bed and good bathroom. For the price, it’s hard to fault—definitely one of the better stays I’ve had in the city at this level. Would happily stay again.
