Windy Harbour Holiday Park

Just returned from our first ever time at Partingtons and Windy Harbour. We stayed in a 3 bed park view lodge with hot tub. The lodge was beautiful, every little touch and utensil you could need. The week flew by and we didn't want to leave. Very comfy beds. Highly recommend a visit to Blackpool zoo. The park was beautiful, all the staff where lovely and noticeably seemed to take ownership and pride in the place. Excellent play park with high fencing and gates around it. The static caravans are quite close together with little parking allowances, so my personal preference would always be a lodge. 2 pieces of feedback would be, no facility opening times in welcome folder and the pool was closed for maintenance on our last day which I understand but there was no pre warning any where. Wasted our morning getting kids ready and over to the pool. I know we where 1 of 3 families in the same disappointing position. Top tip - The adults and kids portions at the chippy where the same size. Very big portions. Site is excellently located, 15 minutes to Zoo, 20 minutes to pleasure beach, 5 minutes to Lidl. The park also sell discounted attraction tickets at reception. Delighted to recommend and will visit again. Thank you to all the staff for a great holiday.

Reception were friendly and very helpful. Facilities were great, with small shop, amusements, family room, cafes, takeaways, swimming. Disappointingly, the pitches for touring caravans (though large enough in size) felt like being in a car park. 2 rows of pitches facing each other with the road running in between. Pitches were all grey gravel, flags and only a tiny piece of grass at the side. Not much space on the grass to sit out or tether the dogs. But if you like that kind of thing, then it's wonderful. They had lots of entertainment planned for throughout the week, which was great for the evening.

I spent Easter weekend here with a touring caravan. The toilet block and shower where nice and clean. I found the staff all very helpful and cheerful as well. Will visit again. The pitch was ok bit tight getting on if you have a twin axle but motor mover made it easy. Serviced pitches which is always good plus short work to the venu etc

I was an owner onsite at Windy Harbour and shocked by how situations are managed. Just an heads-up following an incident on site. If you are assaulted and your caravan is damaged, it seems you are expected not to defend yourself, because doing so could result in you being removed from the site. Instead, you are expected to put up with the situation, even when the same person repeatedly returns and causes problems, with numerous witnesses present. This is especially difficult when your 3- and 7-year-old daughters are there, frightened, crying, and witnessing the entire ordeal. What makes the situation even more concerning is that the individual involved had already received multiple warnings and had allegedly been involved in several previous incidents. Despite this, the decision was still made to remove me from the site. As far as I am aware, no meaningful investigation has taken place. The individual involved remains on site and was personally seen by me today driving around the park. To make matters worse, I have been charged £5,000 for just two months on site. That is almost double what it would cost to rent one of the park’s new top-tier “Gold” caravans for the same period. As a paying customer who has never previously had any issues, I would have expected the safety and wellbeing of residents and their families to be taken seriously, particularly when young children are involved. Instead, I have been left out of pocket and feeling completely ignored, while the person I believe was responsible appears to remain on site without any apparent consequences. This post reflects my personal experience and observations. Others can draw their own conclusions.
