About Ashley Victoria
Blackpool's promenade and beachfront are within easy reach of Ashley Victoria, a straightforward hotel on Alexandra Road that puts guests close to the town's main attractions without the higher price tag of seafront addresses. Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach are both nearby, making this a practical base for a classic seaside break.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in-room, and family rooms for those travelling with children. Guests generally find the beds comfortable and the rooms clean, though some report that maintenance can be inconsistent in places. Staff are on hand around the clock at 24 hour reception, and the hotel has a bar, a games room, and a lift for easier access to upper floors. Breakfast is served on-site, and free WiFi and luggage storage are also included.
Parking is available at the property, though guests should confirm details in advance as some have found the arrangements less straightforward than expected. Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers pubs, restaurants, walking routes, and entertainment, with golf and fishing also nearby for those wanting to venture further afield.

GOT TO THE HOTEL FOR US TO BE KICKED OUT AS SOON AS WE STEP FOOT IN THE DOOR BECAUSE IT'S CLOSED DUE TO MANAGER ARGUMENTS!!!! We spent a very long time traveling to Blackpool as a stop off on our minimoon after recently getting married. We arrived here at about 3pm to check in after dragging our cases across the blackpool front. We went in to be told that the hotel is closed to all guests due to partner disagreements. The receptionist was apologetic and gave us the numbers for Hassan and Caroline the owners to sort this issue out. We had to contact hotels.com ourselves to cancel our booking and to get a refund as we were told that they couldn't do it from their end. The receptionist then locked up and left. We then spent about 40 minutes stood on the front of the hotel in the freezing cold trying to find else where to stay! We wasted so much of our time! There was no phone call prior to check in to inform us that it isn't opening and was left to be told when we arrived. Honestly never had anything like it! Receptionist was apologetic and was left by the owners to face the guests. No contact from the owners to apologise. Luckily this was just a stop off on our minimoon and not a family holiday with elderly people or kids! Honestly I'm appalled. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The only positive was the location. Booking.com is extremely misleading with this hotel and should be held accountable for any bad experience at this hotel. Firstly, booking.com tells us that it’s £7.50 for overnight parking at the premises but upon arrival was charged £10, the host was friendly but ultimately couldn’t really speak much English so it was hard to communicate. Secondly, we stayed in room 001, the toilet seat was broken to the point where it was almost impossible to sit down, nevertheless it was filthy. The sink had dirt and phlegm stains in it and the silicone around the shower was mouldy which can cause serious health issues. Not acceptable. Finally, the bedding smelt like cigarettes smoke with the bed and pillows also being extremely uncomfortable. This hotel should not be rated 4 star on booking.com, more like a 2 at best. They also advertise a fully licensed bar which is false advertising! They even advertise it in the bedrooms, this was quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE EVER!

Booked this for a one night stay (3 double rooms) for a 60th birthday. After a 3 hour drive we arrived to a locked door and someone speaking to us through a ring door bell saying the hotel was closed and not taking bookings. I explained we had pre booked several weeks earlier and the full amount taken from our Account several days prior to arrival, just to be told , contact booking . Com as this should have been cancelled. We were left out of pocket and no where to stay and no help. Surely the hotel owner could have called to explain, absolutely shocking service . I would stay away from booking here!

People say this hotel offers clean rooms with comfy beds, helpful staff, and a great location near the promenade and beach.
Other reviews mention rooms can be neglected and parking can be misleading.
