About ART B and B
For visitors who just want a straightforward base for a Blackpool break, ART B and B on North Promenade covers the essentials without complication. It suits families and couples heading to the resort's attractions rather than those chasing luxury, with parking on hand and the promenade right outside the door.
Rooms are en-suite, with some offering sea views, and come with drinks available in-room and family and accessible options among the choices. Guests can expect a decent range of breakfast options to start the day, along with fast Wi-Fi throughout. There's a restaurant and bar on site, plus a lift, 24 hour reception and luggage storage for those arriving before or leaving after check-in times. That said, upkeep is inconsistent in places, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly rather than expecting a polished finish.
The location puts golf, fishing, walking areas and entertainment all within easy reach, alongside nearby pubs, bars and restaurants for evenings out. Staff are consistently described as friendly and welcoming, which goes some way to making up for the rougher edges. It's a practical choice for anyone prioritising position and comfort over polish.
What guests say
We came for 2 nights & spent my birthday & our wedding day here. Diane & Zubira couldn’t do enough for us, the room was decorated beautifully with rose petals, towel art, chocolate, cake, fizz, flowers & a card! The room we stayed in 2.02 was incredible, the views are to die for, the bed was big & comfortable. There is parking right next to the property that isn’t badly priced. Right on the beach front. We are already looking to come back next weekend. Thank you for everything ❤️

This was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had and I would not recommend for anyone to stay here. The apartment we booked is advertised as “new” but that was far from our experience. Firstly, the shower had a grubby looking mat on the base which we remove to reveal a completely cracked base that has been covered up. We were shocked that this was considered acceptable for paying guests as it showed a clear maintenance and a potential safety concern. There were also numerous cleanliness issues throughout the property. The bathroom was not clean, with mouldy-looking tiles and sink, while the bedroom had visible stains on the headboard. There was also an unpleasant smell throughout the apartment. The overall condition of the property was far below what was portrayed in the listing. We reported the issues immediately upon arrival and provided photographic and video evidence. The condition of the property was so poor that we left and booked alternative accommodation at our own expense rather than stay there. What made the situation even more frustrating was the host Lukas’s response. Despite the evidence provided and the fact that we did not stay in the property, he repeatedly refused to offer even a partial refund. Prospective guests can make their own judgement, but based on our experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We booked Art BnB at the last minute after our original accommodation was cancelled due to a fire. We were only in Blackpool for my son’s boxing training and just needed a comfortable night’s sleep to avoid a long drive early on Sunday morning. The hotel had great reviews, so I booked a sea view suite. There was no on-site parking, but we found an open car park just a few steps away for £15, which was convenient enough. On arrival, we were handed our room key with very little information beyond how to use the key fob. We weren’t told anything about breakfast, despite it being included in our booking. After reading previous reviews, I discovered that a continental breakfast was supposedly served between 7am and 10am. We went down to reception at 8am, but there were no staff, the dining room was locked, and nobody was around. I also messaged the contact number provided by the B&B but received no response. The bar and dining area felt more like a storage room than a welcoming space, and throughout our stay we hardly saw another guest. By the time we returned at around 10pm after walking along the Golden Mile, reception and the bar were completely closed with no staff around. The room itself was clean and the crisp white bedding was lovely, but there was quite a strong damp smell. The skirting boards and windowsills could have done with a better clean, although the rest of the room was tidy. There was no shower gel in the dispenser, which would have been useful, and while the room had tea-making facilities with two teabags and milk, there was no coffee provided. It was also very warm. A fan had been left in the room but wasn’t particularly powerful, and because the hotel is on the main road, opening the windows meant a lot of traffic noise. Overall, we got exactly what we needed—a clean, comfortable bed for the night. The sea view from the bay window seating area was a lovely touch. However, the lack of staff, poor communication, and the fact that breakfast was unavailable despite being included in the booking left us disappointed. With a little more attention to customer service, this could be a much better experience.

BETTER HOTELS IN BLACKPOOL FOR CHEAPER!!! The description on this hotel is incorrect and misleading. There is no breakfast. There is no cafe or bar. The room we were allocated was very small. Literally just space around the bed. The bed was actually comfortable, I have to say that. The owner wasn't very hospitable or very welcoming for a blackpool hotel. I've stayed in much better places in blackpool with friendlier owners and breakfast! I wouldn't stay here again
