About Atlantis Hotel

Hull Road sits among the terraced streets of Blackpool, a short distance from Blackpool Tower and about a mile from Blackpool North station, and it's here that the Atlantis Hotel offers its 17 rooms to visitors exploring the Lancashire coast. The area gives easy access to the seafront's usual mix of pubs, restaurants and entertainment, with golf and fishing available nearby for those wanting a quieter day out.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in-room, and family rooms for those travelling with children. A bar and snack bar operate on site alongside outdoor seating, and breakfast is served each morning. Free WiFi, luggage storage and concierge services round out the practical side of a stay, making it straightforward for guests arriving by train or car.

The hotel has built a reputation for good value, with comfortable beds and a breakfast that guests tend to enjoy, backed up by staff generally described as friendly and helpful. That said, some rooms have been reported as less well maintained than others, and staff presence around the building isn't always consistent, so it's worth bearing in mind alongside the hotel's convenient position for walking into central Blackpool.

We took our grandson here and it was his first holiday. We drove all the way from scotland and it was well off to drive hotel was fantastic.Their rooms were fantastic.Everything was fantastic.breakfast was delicious. If I could have stolen the bed, I would have as it's the best bed i've ever slept on so so comfy. 😴 there's nothing bad I can say about this hotel. I would definitely be coming back. We were in room 4 as we had 3 adults to children.. Best room ever. Thank you so so much for having us. Love gill x

Doesn’t even deserve a star! Beyond disgusted. Arrived and it genuinely looked like a bomb exploded as if the room hadn’t been cleaned in 10 years. Filthy bedsheets on the double meaning I had to share a single bed. These stains were also on the towels. The floor was filthy and there was no tv remote to be seen. There were no staff to make any complaints too either. I contacted the place due to my disgust and they didn’t offer anything just that they will speak to the cleaners. The cleaner also walked in before we were meant to leave without asking. She said the door had been unlocked all night which I find very concerning as it wasn’t unlocked all night as I remember. I paid £80 for a night, which personally all I ask is that the room is actually clean and the hotel couldn’t even do the bare minimum before arrival. I will certainly not be returning at all!

Initially on arriving the room seemed lovely, nice big bed, new kettle , small but clean bathroom. However that night , found it hard to sleep as the mattress was very uncomfortable, and next day saw on my arm what looked like a bite, but just presumed I had been bitten by something while out and about. 2nd night was much the same, not much sleep. When I got up next morning and pulled duvet back i was greeted with the sight of an insect which I took a picture and when I googled discovered it was infact a bedbug. Needless to say we packed and left as soon as we could and sent a picture to the owner of the bed bug . Since then I have realised I have countless bites on my scalp and down my body . The owner reckons they have shut room 1 off in isolation till they sort the issue, but I have now discovered they have had problems with bedbugs going back to 2024 . I am lucky in the fact I have received a full refund , but will never recommend or stay there ever again , and my grandson has said he dosent want to ever sleep in Blackpool again , which is sad as we both love our time away making memories. Our stay was 31st March to 2nd April 2026
