About Bloomfield Lodge Hotel

Blackpool's promenade, entertainment venues and seafront attractions are all within easy reach of Woodfield Rd, and Bloomfield Lodge Hotel makes a straightforward base for exploring them. Pubs, restaurants and bars are dotted around the area for evenings out, while golf, fishing and watersports give more active options for those who want to get beyond the town centre, and the surrounding streets are well suited to walking or cycling.

The hotel itself has 22 rooms, including family options, all with en-suite bathrooms and the choice of drinks available in-room. Guests have access to free WiFi throughout, and there's a restaurant and bar on site along with a snack bar for something lighter. Breakfast is served each morning, and a 24-hour reception means arrivals and departures aren't tied to fixed hours.

A games room adds an extra bit of entertainment for those staying in, and luggage storage is handy for guests fitting in a full day out before or after their room is ready. It's a no-frills setup geared towards convenience rather than polish, so it suits travellers who want a central Blackpool base without expecting a luxury stay.

Very good hotel. Bathroom door was detachable, beds had very nice suspicious stains from the previous customers. Had nice snacks left empty around behind the drawers and under the bed. Had a lovely time drinking gone off coffee, while smelling gone off air freshener. There were even some cups left on the table, used of course, left for us discover. Had a great time finding out the shower was dismantled when we entered, and what an adventure it was finding out the mirror in the bathroom had space behind it for god knows what, we didn't get that far. Why not go to the toilet where you can smell the literal crap smeared over the wall? With rusty shelves directly above you. The rooms were wonderfully tiny and clearly NOT big enough for the three of us - what a blast! Enjoy looking at the cracked tables, unhinged doors, cracked ceiling, and unopeable windows. Perfect for all people who want to cook themselves alive! And don't get me started on how the bed was hairy! How ever did it grow it's own pubic hair??? Truly amazing.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I booked room 17 and there were bed bugs here absolutely filthy. I asked for my refund and they have this story they all use all the time“ we have just taken over this hotel, we’re not sure about the previous owner”. I checked on companies house and the owner is still the same person since 2025. I booked via booking.com and the only way you get a refund is if the hotel acknowledge the refund request but they simply ignore the email from booking.com. The most you’ll ever get back from them is £9 as a “good will gesture”. Really not worth it the people are absolutely filthy.

Avoid! As soon as you walk into the place it is absolutely stinking and dirty. I was left standing at reception for 40 minutes ringing the bell until someone eventually showed up. The room was horrible, bathroom covered in mould and had other guests toothpaste, hairs etc all over sink and shower. Window didn't close properly.

Not one to complain, but we were beyond disappointed with our stay at Bloomfield hotel and as we received no resolution or acknowledgment of our experience, we find it only fair to let others know. On arrival, we were provided with a room which had not been cleaned, clearly shown by an overflowing bin and a filthy shower. Staff were nice enough to begin with, were very apologetic and changed our room straight away. The whole hotel was a mess due to work being done which we choose to overlook, and as our new room seemed cleaner we decided to stay. After spending the evening in Blackpool, we headed back to the hotel and spent a few minutes struggling to enter through the front door which was difficult to unlock. Again, we looked past this as we eventually got in. Upon returning to the room, my partner decided to take a shower only to find the water was freezing cold and wouldn’t warm up, after turning on the sink tap to engage hot water only then did the shower become warm, after being in there for a few minutes all of sudden the water got scorching hot. When trying to turn off the water, he burnt his hand from the temperature and also cut his hand on the tap. We then discovered that the toilet flush wouldn’t work and the whole room was filled with flies. It was clear that we would not be able to sleep in this room and so we decided to leave. There were no staff around to report these issues too so we decided to email the owners explaining the situation and had to resort to find a new place to stay, rather than in the hotel room we paid for. The following morning, we received an email back basically stating that we had lied about all of the issues experienced and therefore would not be given any sort of refund or resolution to the problem. There was no apology, only a complete disregard for the state of the hotel and the experience of their customers. We were very lucky to find another hotel to stay in as otherwise I’m not sure what we would have done. Don’t let the good reviews fool you, they fooled us.
