About Comfort Inn Blackpool Gresham
Adelaide Street sits at the heart of Blackpool's entertainment district, and Comfort Inn Blackpool Gresham makes the most of that position, putting guests within easy walking reach of the town's seafront attractions and evening entertainment without needing a car - useful, since no parking is available on site.
The hotel has 46 rooms, including family options, all with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in room. There's a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast is served, and free WiFi covers the property. A games room and lift add to the practical side of things, and luggage storage is handy for those arriving early or leaving late. Rooms are generally clean and roomy, though some have been reported as a little tired, and while staff are often described as friendly, service can be inconsistent.
Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues within walking distance, along with cycling and walking routes for those wanting to explore further afield. Golf, fishing and watersports are also nearby for a change of pace from the seafront buzz.

AVOID BED BUGS INFESTATION!!!!!!!!!! During our stay in room 20 I discovered bed bugs after noticing dried in blood on my pillow. On inspection of both beds an infestation of multiple types of bed bugs were clear. This resulted in having to awaken our young daughter from sleep. I immediately notified the front desk and was asked if we WANTED moved to another room. I offered to show photos and videos however the gentlemen was not interested whatsoever! I have since found out this was the owner! The situation caused significant disruption, distress, and discomfort as well as lack of sleep! While I appreciate that I was relocated, the lack of acknowledgment or apology from staff was disappointing given the seriousness of the issue. A bed bug infestation is a major health and sanitation concern, and the experience negatively impacted my stay. In addition to the physical discomfort, I was inconvenienced by having to repack, relocate rooms, inspect my belongings, and take precautions to avoid bringing the issue home. We hardly slept the full weekend. When we moved to our “new” room there was someone’s false eye lashes on the bathroom floor! My friend also stayed in another room which had the bathroom window looking onto the main road was plain glass. So whilst in the shower could see out unto the car park. Surely this is a safe guarding issue! Brought this to owners attention again no apology and he apparently wasn’t aware. She had to hold up a towel to the window whilst her daughter showered. I found this very strange there wasn’t curtain or blind in the bathroom. There was also the same sweet wrapper in the middle Of the floor from Saturday right through to Monday in the communal area. Looks like no house keeping the full weekend. Update I can confirm yes I did receive a refund for ONE night after having to push for a refund in the first place but I am still out of pocket due to having to replace teddy and pajamas. Still no reply to the email I sent to the comfort inn documenting everything.

The bedroom and bathroom were extremely small and felt very congested. Even during my stays in London, I have not experienced such limited space. Blackpool is not a highly tourist-heavy destination, so this was quite disappointing. Although breakfast was supposed to be included, we checked multiple times between 8 am and 9 am, but no staff were present and the dining hall was locked. The Wi-Fi was also very weak and would not connect or load properly. Overall, it was a very poor experience.

My second visit here and the place looks smashing – fresh rooms, cracking comfy bed, and a much nicer bathroom. The staff were absolute stars, just as friendly as last time. Location’s was always spot-on – close to the action but nice and quiet when you’re back in your room. We had a lovely, chilled-out few days. Can’t wait to nip back again!
