About Fairview Hotel
Albert Road sits within walking distance of Blackpool's seafront attractions, and Fairview Hotel offers a straightforward base close to the Tower and Pleasure Beach. Parking is available on site, which makes arriving by car a simple matter, and the 24 hour reception means checking in doesn't depend on the clock.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Free WiFi runs throughout, and breakfast is served each morning alongside a restaurant and outdoor seating for guests who prefer to eat without going far. Luggage storage is on hand for early arrivals or late departures.
Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers walking and cycling routes, fishing and watersports, plus a nearby golf course. Pubs, bars and restaurants are within easy reach for evenings out, and entertainment options nearby fit well with a stay geared around Blackpool's seafront attractions. It should be said that not every guest has come away fully satisfied, so those booking should expect a basic, functional stay rather than a polished one.
What guests say
We got there the owenr was very welcoming, but the hotel its self was a complete let down and not in good condition. The room was out dated, holes in the wall, out of date wallpaper, shower was terrible wasnt powerful at all, drains in shower was dirty. The beds was hard like sleeping on the floor. Caused more pain instead of relaxation. Tv is so out dated it taken ages to load, just a kettle in the room, but not allowed no food or drinks in the room ? Room was freezing cold !! and asked if we could use the microwave as we have a baby 3months old to sterlies bottle but didnt tell us it was going to be locked at 9 so when we got back later around 10.30-11 we couldn't sterlies our babies bottles. We even rang as that's an emergency and we had no response. The common area where you make tea or coffee its really outdated and needs drastic work done to it. I definitely wouldn't sleep here again!!! Worst night sleeps I've ever had !!

The look of the fair view hotel looked ok but unfortunately we got moved due to over booking ,we got sent to a hotel called Helmshore around the corner , I can honestly say this is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in . The bed sheets were stained and covered in hairs the doors were dirty , the curtains were hanging off. The shower was horrendous and the Tv was hanging of the wall . The aerial was live and just hung lose . The carpets were dirty . I am so disappointed with the Fair view for sending us there ,and to top it off we had no breakfast not that I would have eaten there .

Would not stay again, if you're feeling lonesome tonight our room came with the company of bed bugs 🪲 the lady seemed very upset though and did agree with us that they were indeed bedbugs and did ring round to find an alternative place for us to stay which was very nice of her and we didn't have to pay the extra money means the other hotel was more expensive. It was a shame because the room we was staying in was lovely. We also did have a report that the payment hadn't gone through for the hotel though even though I had checked my online banking and it had indeed been taken out my account and looking at other people's reviews that might have been abit suss 🤔

Absolutely loved this place would rate it a 10 if I could!! The staff were exemplary! Went out of their way to accommodate us. It was a last minute booking after a failed caravan holiday break. The top floor was amazing two large family rooms with a large bathroom to share. The beds were extremely comfortable you don't want to get up in the morning until you smell that wonderful breakfast smell. The breakfast buffet was outstanding absolutely loved it. So many different choices. Would 100% come back here again.
