About The Avon

Step into a room at The Avon and you'll find an en-suite bathroom, free WiFi and a relaxed, unfussy feel that suits a straightforward seaside break. Family rooms are available for those travelling with children, and drinks and room service can be brought up if you'd rather not head back downstairs after a day out.

The property is family-run, with a 24 hour reception on hand whatever time you arrive back from the front. Breakfast is included, and guests who fancy staying in for the evening can opt for a three-course dinner rather than venturing out to find somewhere to eat. Parking is available on site, which makes life easier for anyone driving into Blackpool.

The address on Albert Road puts guests within easy reach of the seafront and the town's usual attractions, with pubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment all nearby. Walking and cycling routes are close by too, along with golf, fishing and watersports for those wanting to fill the day before returning to a quiet, no-frills room in the evening.

Arranged to meet at hotel on phone, when we arrived no-one was there had to wait until someone turned up, then our room wasn't ready we had to wait until someone else came then eventually we got our room, the room was okay nothing special TV, bed, kettle and a on suite toilet/shower. we stayed on a Saturday paid £37 for the room only, no option for breakfast and we managed to park the car around the back of the hotel it was a bit of a squeeze up a gated lane, overall fair price for what we got.

Most economical place I've stayed in. Truly amazing price for location and breakfast outstanding. Affectionately ran by Chris, with his genuine friendly nature, always ready for a chat and to assist if required. 'Cheap and cheerful' he describes his establishment and if you want a clean and comfortable room, with TV, quality tea and coffee makings, en suite, minutes walk from the main train station and attractions around and near the Tower, you don't need to look any further than The Avon.

Stayed as a group of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. No complaints at all. The owner was very friendly, the room was clean and the location was perfect. We would stay again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Avon B&B in Blackpool, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. This charming bed and breakfast truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the host, Chris. He is an incredibly nice man who went out of his way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His helpfulness and friendly demeanor made a significant difference and set the tone for our entire visit. The rooms at Avon B&B are clean and well-maintained. We felt right at home and enjoyed a restful night's sleep each evening. The WiFi connection is also very fast. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety to start the day right. . Overall, our stay at Avon B&B was fantastic. If you're looking for a nice, clean, and affordable place to stay in Blackpool with a great breakfast and a wonderful host, we highly recommend Avon B&B. Thank you, Chris, for making our visit so memorable!
