About Harlands Hotel
Harlands Hotel is a modest, traditionally styled hotel set along Queens Promenade in Blackpool, with 19 rooms giving it the feel of a proper seaside B&B rather than a large chain property. The building keeps things simple and unfussy, with a straightforward, homely character that suits a classic Blackpool break.
Rooms follow a traditional style rather than anything contemporary, and guests have access to free WiFi throughout. The breakfast room looks out over the sea, making it a pleasant spot to start the day, and there is a bar on site for evenings in rather than out. A restaurant, luggage storage and meeting rooms round out the practical facilities, so the hotel can suit both leisure stays and small get-togethers.
The Lancashire coast setting puts guests within reach of Blackpool's usual seafront attractions, and Furness Golf Club offers a local point of interest for those wanting to fit in a round nearby. Layton is a short distance away, making it easy to explore beyond the immediate promenade. It is a straightforward, no-frills base for a Blackpool stay, well suited to those who value the sea view and casual atmosphere over polish.

AVOID!! came to check in but the man made us wait 10 mins while he finished his cigarette. When he did finally come in he said the rooms were not ready. The time was 5 15. He said couls we wait 15 mins while we sorted them. Unfortunately this took 45 mins. When we went into the room the window was clearly hanging out letting in a breeze at night. The door didnt lock properly. The heater is halfway up the wall as the large radiator didnt work. The tv had no remote. After stumbling across a worker as there was no way to contact anybody and nobody on reception, he said I know. He then said he would ring someone but walked down the street and didnt come back. After borrowing another Unfortunately guest tv remote I found it had no signal. The other guests tv did work but his tv made a horrendously loud buzzing sound. No blinds or curtains in some rooms. The shower didnt work in my friends room at all. The bed is uncomfortable but the pillow was like concrete in a sheet. No spare toilet rolls, sheets or pillows. The room looked like it needed new decor badly and had the cracks and exterior damaged pappered over. They left a candle burning in the reception all night and when asked why the reply was for fragrance. There is a lift but it dosent work. A bar area that had seen alot better days and was in needed of a major dust and hoover. The beach is ditectly across from the hotel. Your aeound 2 and half miles from the main promenade. Wouldn't ever stay there again. Go somewhere else.

Dear Team, I am extremely disappointed with this booking experience. Before booking, we clearly informed the hotel that we were travelling from far away with kids and would only arrive around 3:00 AM. We were specifically assured that check-in would be available until 5:00 AM. However, when we reached the hotel around 3:00 AM, nobody answered the calls, the door was not opened, and there was no response at all despite waiting for a long time outside with children in the middle of the night. We then had to go around searching for other hotels nearby, but no rooms were available at that time. This caused us a lot of stress, inconvenience, and hardship after a long journey. The hotel was completely unresponsive even after confirming late check-in availability beforehand. I request an appropriate action regarding this issue, as this situation was unacceptable and very irresponsible from the hotel side.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was a bit skeptical before booking Harlands Hotel after reading several negative reviews about dirty rooms and broken or non-locking doors. However, my experience was completely different. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy, and everything was in good working order. The shower worked perfectly fine — it did take a little while to warm up, but once it did, it was great. I’m glad I gave it a chance because my stay was pleasant overall. Definitely a better experience than the reviews suggested!
