About Maples Hotel
Step into a room at Maples Hotel and you'll find it neatly decorated and well kept, with an en-suite bathroom, drinks facilities and, in many cases, views out over the sea. Family rooms are available for those travelling with children, and the overall feel is fresh and modern rather than dated, which sets it apart from some of the older guesthouses along this stretch of Blackpool's coast.
Maples Hotel sits on Queens Promenade in Lancashire, with free on-site parking a welcome bonus in a town where space can be tight. Breakfast is a proper cooked affair, with hot options made to order alongside the usual English spread, and there's a bar and outdoor seating for relaxing later in the day, plus a games room and 24-hour reception for whenever you come and go.
Staff are friendly and happy to help with local tips, and the location puts guests within easy reach of transport links, the beach, and Blackpool's wider attractions including Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach. Walking and cycling routes run nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment, making it a practical and good-value base for exploring the resort.
What guests say
First impressions from the outside i thought that we were going to be disappointed but as soon as we went inside and opened the door to our room we were pleasantly surprised. This is a little gem of a hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights over the Easter Weekend and we were met by Christine who was really friendly and explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. It’s a Family run business whom all were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and neat. It is an old building with old pipe work but we were surprised when we opened our room door as it was very clean, neat and modernly decorated with a modern en-suite - we booked a superior twin room as a family if 4. Breakfast was included and a choice of hot English breakfast made to order or cereals with tea/coffee/juice - as it is not a large chain hotel but this was more than adequate for us. The English breakfast was tasty especially the sausages which were one of the best that I’ve tasted which i did mention to the owners. It is right outside transport links (tram/bus stops 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel) but the only downside is car parking but there is a pay and display car park nearby or if you can find a space on one of the side roads for free parking. But apart from that we will definitely stay here again as it’s really great value for money too!! Thank you to all the lovely staff for your hard work and fantastic hospitality!! We will be staying with you next time we are in the area!!

I stayed here for a weekend with my elderly dad. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were clean and tidy with fresh linen and towels. Very clean. The views are spectacular! The tram stop is across the road. The beach is a stones throw away. Excellent breakfast which was fresh and hot. Lots of choice. Brilliant value for money. No complaints whatsoever.

This is a lovely family run hotel, the room was nice and clean and the breakfast was very tasty, thanks to Steve! Christine was so brilliant to deal with right from booking to when we left and her son Gary was so nice too, he makes great toast and has lots of banter! The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. We had a sea view from the room which was good. We were so happy to stay there for the weekend would book again many thanks Mick and Becky Ball

Nice place, lovely people but hotel is dated and needs some modernisation. Beds also need replacing/updating as ours was unsuitable for our needs. Fiancée ended up sleeping on the floor due to poor mattress.
