About Rayners Hotel
A cellar bar and a proper cooked breakfast set the tone at Rayners Hotel, a straightforward guesthouse on Woodfield Road in Blackpool. It's the kind of place where guests can unwind with a drink downstairs after a day on the seafront, rather than heading out to find one.
There are 10 rooms in total, most with en-suite bathrooms and some suited to families, all kept simple and no-frills rather than styled up. Rooms come with drinks facilities, and the hotel adds free WiFi, luggage storage and 24-hour reception, so arrivals and departures aren't tied to fixed hours. Parking is available on site, useful given the central Blackpool location.
The Promenade and Blackpool's main attractions are close by, and the surrounding area offers plenty for those who want to get out and about, from cycling and walking routes to golf, fishing and watersports nearby, plus a good spread of pubs, bars and restaurants within easy reach. It's a base built around comfort and convenience rather than extras.
What guests say
Fab hotel, rooms are spotless & spacious which was great as we had two teenagers with us in the family room. Nice to see tissues & earplugs supplied too (ear plugs not needed as it was very quiet.) As well as the usual tea/coffee supplies. Very impressed with added bonus of shampoo/conditioner/body wash supplied too. The downstairs bar is great, has a huge assortment of drinks & added bonus of a pool table & retro games machine for the kids. Owners, Helen & Stuart are lovely, very friendly people who make you feel right at home. We will definitely be back.♥️

We’ve just come home from a weeks stay at the Rayners hotel wow!! The owners Helen & Stuart are lovely Lovely people who go above and beyond to help you with anything they can. The rooms are gorgeous, Spacious, and spotlessly clean As is the whole hotel. The breakfast is fantastic with brilliant choices. Also only 1 min walk to the front. Perfect for families and couples. There is a bar downstairs with very reasonable bar prices. Highly recommend to stay. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely outstanding!! Let's start with the hosts Stuart and Debbie (A.K.A Helen) I have never come across such friendly hosts, they make you feel at home and really do go the extra mile for all the guests, they know key knowledge about the area, and the area it's situated between south and central pier, just a minute walk from the beach, so location is perfect! The rooms are amazingly priced, and very comfortable, your are guaranteed to get a good night sleep. The breakfast is amazing, really does full you up!! Thank you so much Stuart and Helen for a fabulous stay can't wait to stay again 😃

Neat little boutique hotel located near Blackpool South train station. Quiet and well maintained, comfy rooms and great value for money. Run by a really warm & personable couple.I was attending a local training course nearby in January so off season. Adorned with tasteful rock memorabilia (owner has his own band) so quite a find. Does not include meals (although sandwiches were waiting for me upon arrival which was a nice and thoughtful touch) but plenty of local cafés and bars nearby.
