I have to admit that having lived in Blackpool in my youth I was surprised at how run down this hotel was. Don't get me wrong, Sharon was lovely and the rooms were clean(ISH) but the hotel really needs a bit of TLC. There were pigeons in the space above my room and blood on the door handle to the bathroom. I got a cheap room because I wasn't expecting to stay in it much but the time I did spend wasn't great. It could have been different if it had a deep clean as the location is perfect but in truth I was disappointed and will not return. You get what you pay for and I payed peanuts for the room and this showed. I should have paid more and gone somewhere else.

I've just spent a few days at this hotel. Lovely clean rooms and breakfast and very central, Sharron the host can't do enough for You, very friendly and genuine person. Really enjoyed my stay and hope to return soon. Would highly recommend Riversvale to anyone.

On Arrival I was upgraded from single to double room, and it was lovely, bed comfy, shower nice and warm, high-pressure flow on demand. Downstairs there's a well stocked super little bar too!! Sharon, the owner really helpful and so friendly 💘. For me the location was ideal, 10 minutes walk to town and entertainment areas, 10 minutes to train station, yet just far enough from town centre to have quiet peaceful nights rest. I seriously am struggling to find anything negative to say. Will surely return.!!! Pat.

I was very happy with his hotel. I spent the night with my son and the room was everything that we needed. The host was lovely as well. Would definitely stay again!
