About Shirley Heights Hotel

Shirley Heights Hotel suits visitors after a straightforward base rather than a grand occasion - couples on a short seaside break, or anyone happy to keep things simple while exploring Blackpool. With just six rooms, it has the feel of a small, personally run hotel rather than a large chain operation, on Coronation Street within reach of Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach.

Guests get a bar and restaurant on site, along with breakfast, free WiFi and a garden to sit in when the weather allows. Luggage storage is available for those arriving early or leaving late, and there are meeting rooms if the trip involves more than sightseeing. Free on-site parking is a practical bonus in a town where parking can otherwise be a hassle.

The location puts the main Blackpool attractions within easy striking distance, making it a sensible choice for a short, activity-focused stay rather than a long, luxurious one. It is a modest, well-placed option for travellers who want the essentials covered without extra fuss.

This wasn't my first stay at Shirley Heights, and once again it didn't disappoint. The owners are absolutely lovely and always go out of their way to help — nothing is ever too much trouble. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and seafront, with local shops and amenities conveniently close by. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and very well maintained, making it a comfortable place to stay. I always enjoy our time here and wouldn't hesitate to return. I would highly recommend Shirley Heights to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-located place to stay.
