About Sky City Hotel

Sky City Hotel puts guests into simple en-suite rooms with drinks provided, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Free WiFi runs throughout, and there's a garden on site where guests can sit out and enjoy the garden views, a nice change from a standard town-centre hotel setup.

The hotel sits on Hornby Road in Blackpool, with Blackpool Tower nearby as a natural point of reference for finding your bearings, and Blackpool North station around 0.95 miles away. Pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries can be found nearby, and the surrounding area suits walking and cycling, with golf, fishing and watersports also within reach for those wanting to get out and about.

Parking is available on site but is chargeable, and a reservation for the car park is required in advance. Worth bearing in mind when planning arrival.

Where is the 0/5 button. What a disgusting place to stay. When we got there the keys were taken off the last client and passed to us. Bedding had not been changed. Walls were full of damp and paint was flaking onto pillows. Shower was dirty. No cleaning had been attempted and you could smell a musty smell throughout the whole building. After paying £75 for one night in this dingy place, we felt violated when we were asked to pay a further £10 for parking. Decided to go and stay with our son in Lytham. Keep the money, you obviously need it more than we do but we would advise you to spend it on the upkeep of this horrible place to get it up to standard. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This place is absolutely dismal, to start the staff were dismissive and unwelcoming upon check-in and appeared to want to get away from the room they had just given us. I understand why, this hotel is a serious hazard. First impressions of our room, we have out of date coffee, filthy mugs, tea bags that look used, not even as much as soap to wash our hands. There was a half smoked cigarette on the shelf where the mirror is precariously balanced, there was someone else's clothes at the end of the bed, the door lock was very dodgy and there was a noticeable gap where people could see into the room, bed sheets were dirty, room looked like they just made the bed and nothing else. They list so many features and promises on the booking site, almost none of which are even slightly true. There is mould. The walls of this entire building are damp. Not just a small amount, it is rife with black mould covered with layers upon layers of wallpaper and paint and yet I can still see it and moreover I stayed one night and it made me ill. Bottom line, do not come here, they're lying to innocent customers and overcharging for unsafe and unpleasant rooms.

This hotel is disgusting. The rooms look awful, the beds arn't even made they look filthy. When I saw the toilet I was nearly sick. HOW CAN THEY EXPECT YOU TO STAY IN THESE DISGUSTING ROOMS. They should really start to hire more cleaners instead of disgusting and revolting toilets and beds.

Worst experience and "hotel" of my life! My mum originally booked for a 2 night stay and after trying and trying on the first day to check in by ringing and visiting several times, was REFUSED as they had "no bookings" apparently. As told by the unhelpful man at the front door. No surprise there. After finding somewhere else to stay that night, my Mum messaged the hotel who replied for her to come and check in later that night after turning her away in the rain even though she had bookedfor 2 nights. I arrived on the 2nd night. Well, strangers hanging around the door. People coming and going. Lots of arguing. No toiletries. No towels. No WiFi. This was an advertised "deluxe" double room with streaming services, toiletries and a garden view! Dirty, stained mattress, stained bed sheets, filthy shower, more dust on top of the picture that I could ever imagine. Individual tea bags left out not individually wrapped. Filthy shower. Dirty windows. No feeling of comfort or safety. I have NEVER stayed anywhere this atrocious. I don't know if this place needs investigating or demolishing. Completely outdated. Poorly run. Not to mention the rude neighbours shouting through the wall then having someone knock on my door disturbing me! Disturbance in the morning with people arguing outside, really doesn't feel safe or secure.
