About Skye Oceans Hotel
A bar on site and breakfast included make Skye Oceans Hotel a straightforward base for a Blackpool break, with drinks available in the rooms too for those who'd rather not head down. The hotel sits on The Promenade, so sea views come as standard from many rooms, and there's a games room and outdoor seating for guests who want to relax without leaving the building.
Rooms are en-suite, with family options available for those travelling with children, and free WiFi throughout. A lift serves the upper floors, luggage storage is on hand for early arrivals or late departures, and reception operates around the clock. Free on-site parking is a practical plus for anyone driving in.
The location puts golf, fishing, cycling and walking within easy reach, along with watersports for the more active, and pubs, restaurants and entertainment are all close by along the seafront. Ratings for the hotel sit around the middle of the scale, reflecting a budget-friendly stay rather than a luxury one, but the combination of bar, breakfast and promenade position keeps it a fair option for a no-fuss visit to Blackpool.
What guests say
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are having such a great experience at Skye Oceans Hotel! The hotel is spotlessly clean minus rusty radiorator and dirty blindsthat have rips in, other then that, everything feels fresh and well looked after. When we arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was extremely polite and welcoming. Even though we were a little early, he kindly let us check in and mentioned he had just finished cleaning the room for us, which we really appreciated. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel instantly comfortable and cared for. Overall, the combination of cleanliness, hospitality, and genuine kindness made our stay absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend ❤️

This Hotel Was a disaster it smelt of weed throughout all the halls the room was HORRIBLE. There was dirty pants behind the bed and there was no curtains in the bathroom so we had no privacy for showering or Going to the toilet. The service was good the man at the desk was very helpful and the location was good too as it was right on the coast.

SCAM! Do not book this hotel, we arrived Saturday 4th October 2025 and we got to the hotel to find it has closed down, we rang the number we had for the hotel staff and they said they had closed and we had been transferred to another hotel at the other side of Blackpool where we had traveled from, this hotel was dirty damp and smelled as soon as you walked in, the man working there started laughing at us and said you won’t be happy with the rooms and he was correct, absolutely shocking stains dirt just unbelievable, the doors for the rooms would not lock! The name of this hotel was Canasta hotel, we where then moved back up to another hotel called sunny days that was just as bad but didn’t smell l, we had no choice but to stay in this one as it was getting late and we had an appointment the next day. Do not book with this company it’s just a scam.

Don't book here whatever you do. Its a SCAM. They put you into another Hotel. They put us in Sunny Days. Omg! The pillows were beyond stained and filthy! The bedding had been used and turned around. No word of a lie the towels had been rolled up looking clean. When you opened them they were covered with orange stains which looked like food! I took the filthy items to Reception 😭 We got stuck in the bedroom as the door would not open and had to bang the wall next door to get help. We soon learnt the chamfered door at the bottom was used to yank the door open as the handle had been pulled off previously inside. The carpets were filthy and threadbare on the stairs The chair in the room by the desk id be ashamed to put in the skip. The windows were covered in condensation between the paynes of glass So limited view I asked Reception to call Skye Oceans. The poor girl was genuinely afraid and said she'd been shouted at by them today. It says it all.. I stripped the bed, put towels in shower bagged rubbish to help that poor girl and her Mother on Reception Listen to this the Hotel went onto tell Skye Oceans I took 2 pillowcases from the room 😂 Everything in that room is fit for the skip. Who would seriously want 2 degrained pillowcases. Unbelievable! DO NOT BOOK WITH SKYE OCEANS they know exactly what they are doing accomdating Customers elsewhere
