About Starlux Hotel

Starlux Hotel suits travellers after a straightforward, budget seafront stay rather than a polished retreat. Set on North Promenade in Blackpool, it puts guests within easy reach of the Tower and the rest of the town's attractions, with parking on site for those arriving by car.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in-room, and family rooms for those travelling with children. There's free WiFi throughout, 24 hour reception for late arrivals, and luggage storage if you want to explore before checking in. Business services and a meeting room are also available, so it can double up for small work trips as well as leisure breaks.

Sea views from the hotel add to the seaside feel, and the surrounding area covers most bases, with a restaurant, pub and bar, entertainment, golf, fishing and watersports all nearby. It's a functional choice for a short, low-cost Blackpool visit rather than a destination in itself.

Crap place ignorant owners. Book for lights with a wheel chair user. Made it clear we had a wheel chair user. Travel 150 miles to get there to be turned away because they don't accommodate disabled people. Lift not working 4 years ago still not working apparently. no parking . Never got refund was a nightmare

Stayed here for one night for the air show fab location on beach front but omg the lift wasn't working renovations going on which we wasn't informed of . On the way to our room we could smell cigarette smoke and the room itself was a discrace the bed was clean and we had a nice sea view but that's the only nice thing I can say only one coffee sachet and the wardrobe doors was shocking . The bathroom was just a toilet and a tiny shower which during the hot weather we could not use as we couldn't get in it . The sink was separate in the room and only had one bedside cabinet. The carpet had a big stain on it . Overall disgusting I wouldn't recommend this place

We stayed for my friends 21st, when we arrived the morning staff were vile and snotty, I had emailed a few weeks before we stayed to ask about getting balloons in the room and had no reply. The room it’s self was not cleaned properly was rubbish on the floor, hair in the bath. The beds were awful, you could feel every single spring. We had no sleep and to top of off the fire alarm went off early in the morning.Only good thing was the night staff, she was lovely.

Disgusting!! Went to room bed spread had two large stains on it and when looked at towels they were also stained. We complained and asked to change them while we went out.... after all it is Blackpool!! Came back after a few drinks only to find no hot water. Had to inform reception who sent someone to look at the shower.... eventually got a trickle of hot water. After getting out if shower my partner had left toilet seat up.... it clearly hadn't been cleaned. Also carpet had previous residents old eye lashes on carpet, so clearly hadn't been hoovered. The ironic thing was our room was actually next to the cleaning cupboard..... obviously not used! If only paid £30 or so for room I would expect it but was actually dearer than premier inn? Will not be going anywhere near this place again..... Note to self.... must read reviews before booking next time. Only putting one star as can't submit review otherwise!
