I stayed at this hotel for Turkey and Tinsel short break, my room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable , with coffee and tea making facilities. Though we had trouble with door key but reception soon sorted it out. Food was excellent with an good choices and special dietary requirements and allergies accounted for. Evening entertainment was excellent 👌. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend.

Checking not till 2pm however arrived at midday waited outside, rang bell no answer had to ring hotel and wait. We requested to leave bags, which was in lounge but no locked baggage area or changing area, my son was allowed to go to a room to get changed. The room was small I would of preferred separate beds for our family of 2 adults and 3 children aged between 12 and 14 but had 2 bunk beds which were rickety and felt unsafe (a nut bolt came off on the floor) no space to do anything or lounge other then sit on the beds The fridge had a previous milk bottle in that had gone off. There was not enough towels for our group, given hand towels, had to ask for big towels for each of us. The bathroom was tiny that you could barely get round sink for the shower unit right behind. The shower was good, shower gel stuff included, tea coffee kettle and hair dryer was fine. Beds comfortable once settled. Room was aired and clean and quiet. We didn't choose to sit in the lounge area downstairs as it didn't feel relaxing, nothing to do or any bar so we went out and stayed out til bedtime. wouldn't choose to stay again with family again.

We tried to book into our hotel room but the supposed husband of the owner checked and said our booking wasn't there but we had proof of our booking on the bookings.com website which shows the date time and how much we paid, they let us in the room and said we could sort it out later, we went to see the fireworks on the north pier in black pool which ended up getting cancelled so we went back and the woman I'm assuming was the wife of the man even though she didn't exactly say that he was her husband, but anyway she came in trying to figure out how to sort things out, we showed her that we had the booking still confirmed from when we first booked it which was in April, she then called booking.com at our door but then went out the room a little and started whispering so my dad listened closer and when she realized he was listening she came back and talked normally, the owner explained that booking.com said that they didn't have our booking but when my mum called them they confirmed it was still there, then they explained that they were going to cancel it but we were in the room that we had booked and payed for at that moment so obviously we were stressed and upset at the fact that they were going to cancel it and we would have to either leave or pay for the room again which would be more than we originally paid for, which we explained that not everybody has that kind of money lying around, booking.com said they would send a refund within 7 to 10 business days but we still don't know if that will happen as we suspect this may have been a scam for more money which we did end up paying £150 just to stay in the room overnight which is 27 more pounds than we originally paid, we no longer trust booking.com nor do we trust this hotel, will never come here again, all I like are that the beds are comfy and they have a decent mini fridge, but I don't think they are organised but they were trying to insist that this was between booking.com and us but I believe it was between them two and not including us as they changed owners between the time we booked and came here but that was booking.coms fault for not letting us know or cancelling our booking and letting us rebook on a different day, I need to know if they have tried this with anyone else that has been here recently, because my dad feels like he's been scammed considering the sketchyness that has been displayed and the fact he had to send the money straight to the owners account even though we payed through booking.com which should've payed them instead. Thank you very much

We stayed for 3 nights, Chris was helpful and friendly, and told us what we needed to know. The room was clean with tea, coffee and cocoa waiting for us. We were right by the tower with great access for everything. Continental breakfast was lovely. Cereals, toast with jams and crossiants. Very nice, would stay again.
