Firstly overall this was a very good hotel for a good price and I would stay again. Hotel was very clean (look and smell) as was the room and the breakfast was very good. But I am marking it down because of the bed sheet - there were several marks and stains. I did check it carefully and these marks did seem to be historic. i.e. just don't come out in the laundry but if this were my hotel I would not use a sheet so badly marked. Normally I check the bed on arrival but was in a rush so only checked when I got in, by which time reception and bar shut. Reported next morning. A couple of other points - I did not report these nor do they affect my score. I was provided with one bath towel but no hand towel nor shower mat. Was a deep tray in shower so you had to step over the edge so had to be a bit careful. Also the TV received no channels on check in but cable seemed OK. But when I got in at night they were all working, but half an hour later they all went off. Working again next morning.

My friend and I went on the 16th. The staff, Sue efficiently sorted the overnight stay. The whole process was smooth, efficient, professional. The location is 5 mins from the coach stop. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and yummy breakfast. Great, the inclusive atmosphere with accessible equipment also, price was brilliant. I would highly recommend a visit. I'm sure you'll want to go again. All the staff are very polite and professional. 10 out of 10 to Paul, Sue and the team, fantastic customer experience, thanks.

We, as 3 friends wanted a central location hotel. Thanks to one of us who is amazing at arranging trains and accommodation, we were not disappointed. What we had was so much more for a seaside hotel with staff who could not do enough for you including Liza who had the ability to make us laugh with her stories and welcoming friendliness. The rooms were basic however very clean, an improvement on many leading competitors and check daily for bin rubbish and top up toiletries. On top of this was the northern hospitality, welcoming, helpful and very embracing. Without any doubt we will come again and definitely stay at this lovely hotel with staff who had that very special warmth. Thank you.
