About The Galloway
Rooms at The Galloway come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, with family rooms available for those travelling with children. It's a straightforward, no-frills base rather than a place geared towards comfort or polish, and it should be booked with that in mind.
The hotel has a 24 hour reception, so arrival times are flexible, and Lonsdale Road puts guests within reach of Blackpool's main draws, including the Tower and Pleasure Beach along the promenade. Pubs, bars and restaurants are all close by for evening options, and entertainment venues are within easy reach too.
Outside the town itself, the area offers walking and cycling routes, along with golf, fishing and watersports for those wanting to fill the day beyond the seafront attractions. It suits guests after a low-cost, central spot to sleep and explore from, rather than a destination in its own right.

Here now we have 2 bedrooms and I wouldn't even let a cat stay in here. Had people asking where the girls are and trying to walk into one of the rooms. Rooms are dirty stains on sheets. Locks arnt safe. My door key fit in to the other room where my friend is staying and opened her door. There is a big nail in the carpet poking out. The shower is full of damp and mould. The lock is lose on the bathroom door. Can never get threw to the number they have given... tvs in both rooms do not work.

This B&B should be avoided, I could not and would not stay here, even if I was paid to do so! The building was badly run down. It wasn't even kept clean. Jammy Dodgers trodden into the carpet. The bathroom was disgusting full of other peoples grime and hair. Yuk!!I The staff could not be bothered to talk to me, I found the lady to be openly aggressive on arrival and really rude throughout the short time I spent there. If I could rate them any lower I definitely would. 👎👎👎👎👎

I stated here for one night out of 5. My room was facing the front. Outside there was a group of youths shouting and play fighting. I decided not to leave my room because of them and the feeling of intimation. The room smelt of dampness and sick and the carpet was filthy. Under the bed was one old sock one set of men's underpants used. My door did not feel secure so I decided not to stay after night 1. I collected all my kit and left leaving my card on an empty reception desk. My advice here is to stay away from this place

This place feels like an asylum, and it’s obvious that it is extremely underfunded. I would rather sleep in a nearby park
