About The Last Post
Families heading to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, or anyone wanting a no-fuss base close to the action, will find The Last Post does the practical things well. Set on Trafalgar Road, it offers family rooms with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in the room, and 24 hour reception so arrival times are never an issue. Breakfast is included, free WiFi runs throughout, and there is outdoor seating for a bit of fresh air between outings.
Luggage storage and on-site parking make it a sensible choice for anyone travelling by car or arriving with plenty of bags for a seaside break. Pubs, bars and restaurants are all within easy reach, and the surrounding area has entertainment on the doorstep for evenings out.
Beyond the immediate attractions, there is scope for walking and cycling nearby, along with golf, fishing and watersports for those wanting to fill a day away from the pier and the arcades. It suits a straightforward stay rather than a luxury one, but for a family trip built around Pleasure Beach and Blackpool's seafront, it covers the essentials.
What guests say
First of all, Steve was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He took the time to show us around and explain all the things to do in and around Blackpool, which was very helpful. For breakfast, he asked us our preferences from the menu and prepared everything fresh, hot, and delicious. He was always happy to help with anything we needed. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, comfortable, and cozy. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!

We arrived with Steve making us feel straight at home! He was friendly, chatty and a great sense of humour. The room was bigger than we thought, clean and everything we needed. The shower was big and spacious. The breakfast was lovely and just the right size without being over faced with a wide range of breakfast cereals to chose from. If we needed anything Steve was more than accommodating for us. Not only was the hotel close to all attraction but the price for our stay was very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back here next year : )

Just got back from my hen do in Blackpool stayed at the last post hotel for two nights. What a lovely place, the owners and waitress are the most lovely people I have met, nothing was too much for them and they genuinely made my hen weekend. I can't thank Steve and Sandra enough for all that you did for us, we had a bit of bad news on the Saturday and they even went and bought me a beautiful bunch of flowers. The rooms and the whole hotel are absolutely immaculate and the breakfast is gorgeous, we had two vegetarians in our party who they accommodated for perfectly. Thank you so much to Steve and Sandra, sometimes you meet people in life who you will never forget for how lovely they are. We will be back soon for sure, All our love, Sophie's bridal party! X

Great b&b experience. Our host was very attentive and ensured he made our stay as pleasant as possible. Very clean throughout. Not the often run down and in need of attention Blackpool b&b. The last post is fully refurbished and kept immaculately. With a good shower and very comfortable bed. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. With a large choice of cereals as well as a good hearty full English with limitless toast and drinks. Thanks to Steve the host for a great stay. We will see you again. When we are next in Blackpool.
