Wow we had such a lovely stay at the Mayfield from arriving to leaving the hosts couldn’t do enough for us. We were visiting Blackpool for my birthday with our two pugs and the little guys couldn’t have been happier as this is the most dog friendly place we’ve stayed. From towels near the door for drying them off to letting them be off lead to calm them down so we could enjoy our delicious breakfast in the sun room. The breakfast was amazing the hosts were so attentive and my other half who is a really picky eater was really well catered for. There was cereal yogurt toast and croissants and fruit and then a lovely cooked breakfast as well as tea coffees and juices. There was also as much complementary bottled water as we could drink. They even allow takeaways to be eaten in the sun room and your own room so we enjoyed some lovely fish and chips while we were there. The rooms are lovely and the bed was so super comfy for us and the dogs. It was also very quiet and we had two really good nights sleep. Couldn’t rate it any higher and would definitely return. Parking was also really easy on street the area felt safe to leave your car. There is also a dog park round the corner and the beach which is dog friendly just across the road.

Dog-friendly gem with the best breakfast We had a wonderful stay at The Mayfield. The hosts were so welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were incredibly dog-friendly and even sat our dog Jack for us, which made the whole trip so much less stressful. The room was lovely and spotless, and the full English breakfast was fantastic - exactly what you want after a good night's sleep. We'd highly recommend The Mayfield to anyone visiting the area, especially if you're bringing your dog. 🐕

Fantastic stay! Lynn and Lydia were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They went completely above and beyond by looking after my dog while we visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which gave us total peace of mind. To top it off, they cooked an absolutely amazing breakfast the next morning. I cannot recommend this place and their wonderful hospitality enough!

We had a fantastic 2 night stay here. The bedroom is decorated nicely and it was all very clean and bright. The pillows are wonderful especially. Our check in was very easy and the lady that showed us round was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Full English with a option of cereal also. Again very helpful and friendly lady who checked us out and made our breakfast. Very close to the tram stop if heading into the main blackpool strip. Being in the north of Blackpool we could sleep with the windows open as it is lovely and quiet on a night. We would absolutely stay here again.
