About The President Hotel
The North Promenade runs along Blackpool's seafront, and it's here that The President Hotel sits across from the water, within easy reach of the town's tram line and coastal walks. Being on the Promenade means many of the comforts of Blackpool's attractions are close by, without needing to move the car.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and the option of family or accessible layouts, and some look straight out over the sea. Beds are comfortable, though the rooms themselves run on the smaller side and the decor could do with updating in places. A buffet breakfast is included, and there's a restaurant, bar, and snack bar on site for other meals, along with room service and packed lunches for those heading out for the day.
The hotel also has a games room, meeting rooms, and facilities for weddings including a bridal suite, making it as suited to a group booking as a seaside break. Parking is available at the property, and nearby options include golf, fishing, pubs, and restaurants, alongside the entertainment Blackpool's Promenade is known for.

What guests say
The staff were absolutely lovely. I shared a few giggles with Nathan and a couple of other staff. Really friendly and easy to talk to. The only downside was the rooms, they were dated and worn, and one of the rooms was absolutely freezing. However, they are in the process of getting a refurbishment. Our bed was super comfortable, I wanted to take the mattress home. Thanks guys. Lorna x

Stayed here with my family for three nights with half board. The customer service was good and the waiter was exceptional (it's a pity I didn't get his name). The breakfast option was the best part of the meal package. Dinner was served a bit earlier than I would have liked but the portions were large and I was was always full at the end.

The location is fine is you enjoy long walks, but it's in an area that is a little rough. On arrival I got my two ready for bed and ordered pizza as we'd have a 5 hour drive and had to be up early the next morning for an event, l collected my order and came back to find a printed bit of paper stating "no food beyond this point" - so no food at all in the rooms, this made life very difficult, I spoke to a staff member who allowed me on that occassion to take up the pizza if I brought the rubbish down straight after which was fine but staying Friday-Sunday with the kids not allowed food in the room was not ideal.. when I went to go to bed I realised there was dried blood over my bed sheets, I went down to speak to someone to explain and said that my children were already in bed asleep, they seemed unbothered but did change it the following day for me at my request, I am sure that they would have done it there and then had my children not been asleep already but it was on the top sheet so noticeable! Safe to say that was the worst night sleep I had and the beds sadly are very uncomfortable too! The "evening entertainment" is not suitable for families as stated, it's very loud and rowdy. As a final note, Sunday morning at 5.30am we had someone trying to get into our room in a rather aggressive manner. Luckily myself and my husband were awake with our children as we had an event to get to for 6.30am. We waited to see if it would stop, which is didn't, so my husband approached the door, unlocked it to confront whoever it was as the children were becoming a bit scared. The look on my husbands face and the panic for him to shut the door shocked me, there crouched on the floor was a very intoxicated woman appearing to undress outside our room. When I called reception to explain the concern the response I got was “oh ok”, I explained this was far from ok with two young children and they said they would check the cameras. Not one member of staff came up, not one checked we were ok or that my children were ok. My husband then checked the route from the room to the exit of the hotel to ensure we could leave. We decided after this to leave purposely checked out, leaving us staying in a cafe until our event with our children because we felt safer doing so. Other things like the shower being broken, the tv not working properly and just lack of staff and rudeness (minus one staff member who as I explained greeted us at the start). We would not stay again, not recommend and from others I have told who we attended the event with, they have all said I should I demanded some money back, although the level of conversation and help I got during my stay shows me it would be a pointless effort. Sadly I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I recently stayed at the President Hotel in Blackpool and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were lovely, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay, always happy to help with anything I needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, which made me feel very welcome. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. It’s clear that the team takes pride in maintaining the hotel and providing good customer service. I would happily stay here again and would recommend the President Hotel to anyone looking for a friendly and well-kept place to stay in Blackpool.
