About Travelodge Blackpool South Shore
With 124 rooms spread across five floors, Travelodge Blackpool South Shore is a straightforward base for exploring the resort's south side. Seasiders Way puts the promenade, Pleasure Beach and the tram lines within easy reach, so guests can be at the seafront or the rides without much of a walk.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks-making facilities, and accessible rooms are available. There's a restaurant on site for breakfast and evening meals, a lift serving all floors, and 24 hour reception for late arrivals or early starts. Pets are welcome, which suits guests travelling with dogs for a seaside break.
On-site parking is available but comes at an extra charge, and vehicles need to be registered with reception on arrival. Beyond the hotel, there's plenty to fill a stay: golf and fishing nearby, watersports along the coast, and a choice of pubs and restaurants within walking distance for evenings out.

What guests say
Overall, 5 star. However, our 1 night stay was during a heatwave, and our room was ridiculously hot!. The room was warmer than in the corridor, which was was still warm. It was a relief to walk back outside, where we'd previously been roasting! Bar drinks were good. Breakfast was good. All members of staff seemed polite and friendly.

We stayed at this Travelodge in Blackpool for one night with my two nephews, and from start to finish the experience was fantastic. Every interaction with the staff was friendly, welcoming and professional. From dropping the car off, checking in, and having breakfast the following morning, everyone was so helpful. A special thank you to Joe on reception, who was incredibly welcoming, polite and informative. He made check-in quick and easy and gave us all the information we needed. I’d also like to mention Anthony, who really went above and beyond. My nephew is quite a fussy drinker and would only drink orange cordial rather than orange juice. Anthony kindly got him an orange cordial at night so he didn’t have to go to bed with no drink. The next morning at breakfast he brought him another orange cordial. He also took the time to check that everyone was enjoying their breakfast and that everything was okay. We didn’t have any special requests or any issues during our stay—the room was clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed. What really made this stay stand out was the staff. Every conversation was easy, friendly and genuine, and they made us feel very welcome. Thank you to the whole team for making our little trip to Blackpool such an enjoyable one. We’ll definitely be back!

The room was one of the best Travelodge rooms I've ever seen, very clean and comfortable. The only problems for me was that there was a stain on my bed and random marks on the wall and also the shower was rather weak and there was only one squirt of soap. The service was good , staff were all friendly . The breakfast was also amazing and great value for money. The location of the hotel was good , just a five minute bus ride to the tower and ten minute walk to st chads road tram stop. Although the actual area was interesting let's say , we definitely made sure we were in our room by the time it's dark that's for sure .
